The case of Adnan Syed became very popular. There are many people who know about this case. The trial convicted that Adnan had killed his ex-girlfriend. Many of Adnan’s friends believe that Adnan is not guilty. Also, many people who do not personally know Adnan and read the case about him, see he is not guilty. Other people see he might involve in the case, so he is guilty. There are many doubts about the court's decision to imprison Adnan lifetime. These doubts made this case a mystery case. Adnan may be not guilty if the jury, the prosecutor, and the detective give more importance to the case and focus deeply to take a right decision. Jay wilds the bad boy who was working at porn video store, smoking weed, and marijuana admitted that Adnan Syed killed his ex-girlfriend. Although Jay was a drug dealer and the police caught him once, the jury listened to his testimony. Jay was unreliable source that can be testified because he was always changing his details. Also, the detectives mentioned that they conflicted with Jay. They spent many times with him to ask him about the case, but each time he was always changing his details. The detectives MacGillivary and Bill Ritz who interviewed Jay knew that he was lying because they noticed that the details were changed every time, but they let him go For example, on the first tape, Jay admitted “he refused to help dig a grave for Hae.” After two weeks, the detectives recorded his answers about the same question and Jay said “they both dug the hole.” In addition, in the first record; Jay said “Adnan only told him that same day that he was going to kill Hae.” In the second record, he said “Adnan had started talking about it before hand – four or five days before.” Jay lied about the questions that he answered when he interviewed by police.
