Learning is a part of everyday life and teachers are to credit for it, whether it is teaching a sing-a-long or a life lesson. Teaching is a very important career that allows children a chance to better themselves. Knowing that a child will walk away with a better understanding and feel good about them gives me a great sense of accomplishment. With my love of children and the qualities I bring to the classroom, I feel that as a teacher I can make a difference.
Teachers that show themselves as warm, encourage their students to work harder and strive for success. I believe that teachers are more than an instructor but also a role model and friend. Instruction should be student centered, as John Dewey believed, making

In turn, motivation will play an important role in my classroom.
Younger children need to know more often that they are doing exceptionally well at their studies. From observing others, I want to praise and encourage those who do just that. Bulletin boards as well as other posters and displays should show the excellent papers and work of particular students. This will not only allow them to see their talents and keep up their good work but also show the other children examples and how to strive for their accomplishments.
I believe that my students should have responsibilities of their own as well. I would like to have a classroom pet so that it will teach them compassion and show them that they can be helpful. As well as a pet, I have seen in classrooms small job charts. Whether it be dusting erasers or picking up papers, it helps to have the children involved in the process. Younger children like to help out whenever they can as I have seen in my field observation and in my own teaching. I think that it is very important to show them that they are growing up and can take on these responsibilities.
Even though there will be a vast amount of praise in my classroom, there must be discipline to maintain control. With my belief as a realist, the students will be told the rules of the classroom on the very first day with ears attentive and minds ready to learn. Recurring bad behaviors will not be tolerated
I would like to be a teacher because I have always been the one that’s eager to make a difference, I want to be the teacher that children remember for the rest of their life even after school. The love that I have always had for children is what drew me to teaching and the love that I have for learning is where I got my passion to teach. I have been inspired by many teachers in the past who has had a positive impact on my life and these are the ones that I have viewed as a mentor, leader and even as a parent. One particular reason that I chose to pursue a career in the education field is because I believe that when teachers work individually and collectively they have the ability to improve and change the world.
Why is teaching an important profession to me? Life is about something, but what it is about for me it is the passing of knowledge that will make society move forward. Without the teacher, we would be in the dark, because, the light of someone teaching would not be. We would not advance as a society, on Medicare or agricultural advances.
Looking back at the experience I had in observing, I still have the determination to inspire others through a career in teaching. Teaching is a very diverse job that requires many skills and a lot of patience. It is important for a teacher to be able to maintain a healthy and professional relationship with their pupils, develop lesson plans that keep the attention of a majority of the students, make the atmosphere of the classroom inviting, and be a welcoming person capable of standing up in front of the class to
Teachers have the power to change the world and to make a difference in the student's life. Teacher is a facilitator of knowledge, motivator, advisor and a positive person that can improve the student's education. I decided to pursue the career of education because I have the desire to help others. I also have the ambition to provide encouragement and support to the people that need it. Becoming a teacher means more than sharing my knowledge to the students. It is a commitment with society to shape the performance and learning of future generations.
For me, the decision to become a teacher is more of a way of life than a career. I have always loved school, practicing at being school marm from a young age, and voraciously devouring every shred of education offered me in my career as a student. If it were possible, I would be a student for the rest of my life. And then I still would not have learned enough. As a teacher, I hope to instill this appetite for knowledge in secondary students. They are, after all, the future leaders of the world, and what better place to expand the minds of the generations to come than here in Appalachia where education programs, especially the sciences, which I plan to teach, are poorly funded and children’s dreams
Teaching has always been an occupation that amazed me. I believe it to be one of the most important jobs that anyone could ever embrace. A person choosing their career to be a teacher is essentially choosing to take on the role that is similar to DNA. Teachers are the group of people that pass on knowledge (which is what DNA does in our bodies), through education to the rest of us. Imagine the pressure on them. Imagine for one second that you were given this task. To teach another person a certain subject in such a way so that, the person that you are teaching can incorporate this knowledge to their daily life. Could you confidently teach
I believe that teachers must understand the importance of their job. Teaching is a lifestyle, not just a job. A teacher’s aim is more than to relay information to compliant students. My job is to facilitate growth and learning
It is important to model and repeat these expected behaviors so they are always aware of how they should be behaving. My class website will be a great way to ensure that parents and students are able to access our expectations and policies at any time. This is also a good way to communicate with parents outside of the classroom. I will have my contact information on there so parents/guardians and even students will be able to contact me with any questions or concerns they may have. Communication is very important when it comes to classroom management.
Teaching is the greatest profession in the world! I discovered I wanted to be a teacher while working as a Speech Assistant in the public schools. It is amazing to watch students learn. I adore the feeling of energy that comes from kids. Teaching helps build a positive future for everyone, and I love being a part of it.
Making a career choice can often be a tormenting decision, and many people choose a profession or line of work that may not satisfy their creative abilities, but only pays the bills. I have known, specifically since the first day I spent in kindergarten class, that my purpose is to teach, and for that knowledge I am especially fortunate. The philosophies that I support have been part of my educational beliefs and standards for the majority or my lifetime, and are qualities that, I feel, make an effective and touching teacher.
Just as service professions like a Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Police Officer, or Firefighter are not among the highest paying jobs, neither are most all education professions. An outstanding educator requires a passion and desire for teaching – that individual chooses to be a teacher because they want to make a difference in the lives of others. An educator must freely accept the rewarding feeling that comes with the profession. This passion shows through in a situation where a student is struggling and that teacher works one on one with that student for however long that is needed until that student achieves success in the subject. A passionate educator will work their hardest to see a student achieve, not because it shows they have done their job well, but simply so that each student can gain knowledge and achieve success. Teachers must be team-players and be able to see the big picture. They are willing to work for the good of the school, not only for the good of their own classroom or subject area. Good teachers share
Knowledge is a very powerful thing, and to be able to deliver this to today’s youth has been a dream of mine for a long time. There are many advantages to teaching. I feel that is a very fulfilling profession. I have seen my sister in the classroom, and it greatly inspired me to want to make a difference in some ones life. Through watching my sister in action I was inspired to follow in her footsteps.
“Why Teach?” Although this seems like a very complicated question, the answer to it is actually quite easy. Teachers have always been an intrical part of society, and they are the stepping stones that help students to succeed. According to a survey by Haselkorn and Harris in Those Who Can, Teach, sixty-two percent of people surveyed said the teaching profession provided the most benefits to society. This survey rated teaching first over physicians, nurses, and even lawyers. As a future teacher, I want to positively influence children's lives, impart knowledge within their lives and create a comfortable environment where they can learn.
Over the years I have been making decisions about what career I’m interested in pursuing. I decided to pursue the career of an Elementary School Teacher. To become an elementary school teacher, there are many obstacles one as to meet. But once they are skillful they plan daily lessons for the day. These daily lesson plans are based on multiple subjects for the students to learn various subjects. A teacher is able to adjust their way of teaching for students to understand what is being taught. Not only that, but they learn how to communicate well with them and they gain a relationship with the students. For this reason, is why I chose this career I want everyone to realize that they can learn many things by getting an education as well as attending
I intend for my classroom to be a place to learn and a place to develop social skills. When a student enters my classroom I want them to walk in with wonder, question, and excitement in knowing that as their teacher I will go above and beyond to guide them towards success. It is up to me as a teacher to help students reach their fullest potential in not only subject areas, but with experiences throughout life. Classroom management is extremely important because it involves educating the student as a whole, which includes the physical, emotional, and social aspects of each child. It is my desire to create an environment that is safe, stable, supportive, creative, invites a sharing of ideas, encourages esteem, and promotes healthy everyday learning. I want my class to imagine themselves as a puzzle and each one of them is an important piece of that puzzle. Every student should feel as though their presence is a major and effective contribution to the class as a whole
