Everyday in the summer Bernie would go to an asphalt basketball court at the park four blocks from his house and practice basketball. After three weeks of practicing the older kids asked him if he wanted to play with them. Bernie was shocked that they asked him. He told them that he would play. Bernie got the ball, drove to the basket, shot a layup, and got blocked. This happened every time he drove to the basket. He was a good shooter and passer, but every time he drove he seemed to always get his shot blocked. The summer came to a fast end, and next thing he knew basketball tryouts were right around the corner. Two days before tryouts bernie worked very hard, so he could be the best basketball player he could be at tryouts. The day of tryouts Bernie was so nervous he couldn't even focus in school. Bernie arrived at tryouts, he saw many people who were better and bigger then him. The court was massive and blue for the team colors. He did not let this bring him down. They scrimmaged the whole time. Again, every time he would drive he would get blocked. Bernie was a very good shooter, but whenever he drove he would get blocked. At the end of tryouts Coach Williams asked Bernie to come to his office. Bernie walked in, and sat in the chair next to his

There was a boy named Carlos. Carlos got every thing he wanted, because his parents were rich. His parents were snobby and were show-offs too. Every morning of the summer he went out to his back yard and threw the ball around on his football field in his backyard. Carlos always loves walk out to the fresh smelling green football field. He would do his morning routine. When he woke up he would get ready for the day he would put on his athletic clothes. When he went out he would take the monster truck tire and pull it down and back, down and back, for a total of 1,000 yards. Carlos could always taste his sweat drip into his mouth after the workout. After that he would take a bag of footballs and set one on each 10 yard line until the other side in the endzone. He would throw each football into his field goal post and did that with every football. If he didn’t get every football into the endzone, Carlos would get beat by his father, a multi-million dollar

It was two weeks before the state championship game and Ella and her team had been working really hard to win. Every year Ella's team had made it to state and every year they had lost in the first round. Ella wanted to change that this year and so far it looked like Ella and her team were on the right track. They got up at 5 AM every morning to go to practice at 5:30 and then turned around to go to practice at 3 everyday after school. Their coach drilled them so hard that they could've done every play, drill, and made every shot in their sleep.
Jack stepped on the field and the whistle blew. “Play ball,” the ref announced while running onto the field. The ball was tapped into play and Jack went on a run down the sideline. Out of nowhere a player chipped the ball and it landed to Jack’s feet. As he got the ball he dribbled the ball a few times then shot.

In the episode I chose to watch, Evan Smith did an interview with Bernie Sanders. This episode was originally aired on April 16, 2015, so the topic of discussion was if Bernie Sanders would be running for president and what were the issues he would focus on if so. Sanders made some very good points when he talked about our economy and the top one percent. He stated that the Koch Brothers are the second wealthiest family in America and they spend at least $900 million in campaigns so they basically own the country. I think this is very scary because if they- along with other billionaires- are the ones giving the money to campaigns then they are the only voices that are being heard. The Koch brothers have become too powerful and they are trying to own the political system.
There’s only one question: why Bernie Sanders’s attacking Hillary Clinton? The only aim of his dangerous game could be the helping to Donald Trump, and it’s obviously to everyone. Sanders and his wife decided that Clinton and the Democrats are real political enemy, not Trump/Republicans.
