He said “ with helmets or no helmets the game is giving its players brain damage”. The NFL found out about Dr Bennet Omalu research. They was going to do anything in there power to stop him from messing up the NFL. Dr Omalu research suggest that eventually big or small hits in a sport like football will take its toll. There is no equipment that was ever made that can prevent this kind of injury. On the other hand the NFL was doing there on research on concussion. While the two versions of the story have their own individual merits, the actual film works much better than the treatment in terms of pacing and tension. While the film moves past the exposition concisely, the treatment meanders around before getting into the heart of the story. I remember after reading the first couple of chapters, my grandmother asked what did I think of it. I teared up and said I felt sad and could relate to the feelings of abandonment and conflict Celie was going through.
