• Women's Health Initiative dietary trial concluded that those who participated in a fat reduction diet, which is decreasing dietary fat by 37-27% of total calories, lost 3-5 kg of weight and kept a lower body weight in the span of 9 years compared to individuals participating in a normal fat diet

Lastly, since glucose in solid foods provides the same amount of satiation as starch, we will feed the hamsters solid foods containing glucose instead of liquid foods containing glucose, so they will feel full at the same as they would if they were consuming starch, as well as to prevent them from consuming more food than required.
