Career Development Plan Summary HRM/531 Human Capital Management Professor Dennis Heins April 18, 2011 My current promotion to midlevel manager at Art Institute has me very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. A very exhilarating feeling has come along with accepting this position as midlevel manager. However, with all of the excitement attached to this promotion, a bit of sadness is in the air as well. Title: Assistant Director of Re-Admissions (1 position) Job Qualifications: - Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s Degree is preferred. - Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a college admissions setting. - Must have a interviewing and appointment setting experience. - Must have general knowledge of enrollment and financial aid process. - Must have superior interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills. Job Description: - Manage inquiries to accomplish speedy contact. - Manage weekly performance goals. - Advise re-entering students regarding the process of returning to school. - Plan and coordinate registration activities. - Schedule office appointments. - Submit daily records of activities completed. - Retains students. - Provide interviews upon exit of all students who have expressed an interest in withdrawing. Training The admissions department is the utmost important part of the company. They admissions team is heavily relied on to make the company a success. A school would be non-existent if there were no students that attended it. The job of the admissions department is to consistently enroll students.
