Obama care One of the biggest concern of the nation is the health care, because more then half a million people do not have insurance. The Democratic and Republican worked together to improve the issue, but there was not any solution through any of our past president. Until President Barak Obama signed and passed the Affordable Care Act on March 23, 2010, which is also known as ObamaCare. This act reforms the combination of control health care cost, and the development of coverage through the public and private insurance The main goal of this act was for united states citizen to have affordable and a quality health care. The lower-income household has guaranteed issues where consumers can not be rejected on any coverage due to their pre-existing health conditions. Both of Romneycare and Obamacare goals are to lower their price on insurance with providing the same coverage as other health care insurance. The differences between two are, RomneyCare was applied to 6.5 million residents’ common wealth. Also, Medicare was expanded for children, parents, pregnant women, and long term unemployment. There were cost sharing for preventative service, RomneyCare wanted the insurers to co-pay for the promotions of wellness and diseases in its earliest stage. While Obamacare covered more then 300 million people over 50 million diverse state. Instead of Medicare, ObamaCare wanted to expand Medicaid to all families and individuals.
