Why do you want to take this DeCal? *
There is something in me I do not want to let die, and it is my passion for creativity using design softwares. This is the mean reason that pushed me to take this decal class. Moreover, I always wanted to unleash my potentiality by learning new tools and new ways of expressing what I have in my mind. I already have an experience in making videos using simple tools as Window Movie Maker. Photoshop and Illustrator is something I always wished to learn, but I never had the opportunity to do so. I see this DeCal class has the dreamed opportunity to actually step into another door of the creativity world. Another reason is that I really wanted this Decal class to be the first club, first family and a community I make here. And I truly believe that the kindness, the enthusiasm, and the passion of the instructors were more than enough to convince me to join this course.

As I have been doing video for people, I also listen to the desire of the people i have to serve. It is always a really good way to tap into my personality, because I believe that creativity also can be shared and transferred between human beings. Then, I can say that my creativity also is linked to the idea of having an open mindset about others ways of expressing themselves. Tapping into my creativity also means meditate, I believe that meditation is an important way of bring everything in perspective, see the big picture. Meditating for me is also about drafting, writing, and thinking. It is a process that express in anyways possible, it is just a way of expressing my
I would define design as taking these creative thoughts and ideas, or applying an innovative concept, and putting them into a plan of action. Design is the point at which creativity and innovation become a useful part of a solution. It is the ability to take creative thoughts and manifest them into a tangible object or cohesive solution, and incorporate that into a plan of action to solve a particular problem or take a product to market,
The creativity process helps the client to connect to his emotions and thoughts and accept himself as an individual/person (‘being in the world’)(reference)
sensitive to the rhythm and nuances of living. Design should be seen as a configuration and
But in contemporary society, there is no single definition that covers design completely, or even fields of professional practice as graphic or industrial design that adequetly cover the diversity of ideas and practices as once existed. First, he thought of the purpose of the design. Was it for a certain company or group, or was it to express something. He had to be creative and include many perspectives in a usually simple design. He also had to make the design interesting to gain it more exposure. He needs to think of what community or demographic will be viewing the design, and fit it to that demographic.
I would like to partake in the graphic arts class because I’ve always had a passion for art. I love to draw, paint, take pictures, etc. and I think that this class would be a great opportunity for me to learn new techniques that I could potentially use in careers. The graphic arts class would help me understand the types of resources used in the profession I would like to go in.
Indeed, the working scenario where design centers on is quite complex and unpredictable. Inserting knowledge in a context of totality, such as the environment in which humans interact, allows the complexity of this environment to be seen in a globalized and interdependent way, retrieving the sense of unity that has been lost by the values of specialness; complex because, as stated by Couto et al. (2004) design focuses at the human and the environment in which it interacts, requiring an accurate vision of the designer to understand the complexity of human and environment interaction; unpredictable, because, according to Wyatt (2014), unlike other professions who walk in a more usual speed, in the creative industry, changes occur at the speed of light, as technology and fads run by leaps and bounds. As it is stated in Designing for the 21st century: Interdisciplinary questions and insights:
1. Hodgman’s example of an iPhone describes the design being easily forgettable but he says it is a design that you can do multiple things with. It is something that becomes a part of our everyday life. I would say that design could be interpreted as something with an intended purpose. It could just be for enjoyment of art. It could be a piece of technology that’s intended to help everyday life. Or it could be as the chapter explains, a program design. Basically that means what occurs during training.
Graphic design is the method of visual message, and problem solving through the spot-on or ideal use of space, design, image and color.
As an actor, it is not surprising that my creative side is artistic. I love acting and the freedom of living life any way I want within the confines of the script. I also developed another creative side utilizing an online app called Vine.
A design can be a blueprint, the physical outlook or it is a representation that catches the consumer attention and also influences the consumption patterns. The stigma of design in today’s world is so strong that a well-designed product can even be sold to a non-potential customer like selling a hairbrush to a bald person. Good designs makes the customers
Design. In today’s society, this particular word has been loosely used and overburden by the lack of understanding of true design. Hearing Ian speak about the common cliche ideas that shaped the many minds of what they think design is was quite amusing. Being in the audience that consists of many artists and as an individual pursing a career as a Graphic Designer, it is frustrating yet surprising to see how Ian really defined design. Ian
Having reached the point of near-graduation, I have been exposed to many ways of thinking about design, both design theory and design practice. This has taken place through my courses, commissions, the design work I did for friends and family, etc. As a result, I have gained a more complex understanding of what design is, and, by extension, what being a designer entails. I will discuss this below, but in the meantime, I have isolated five keywords which will form the basis for my discussion below. They are:
The relationship between art and design has been somewhat complicated and there is no clear picture how the roles of art and design ultimately differ. Some are saying that if design is good enough it becomes art. One great design thinker Kenya Hara has written some very good analysis about the relationship
This holistic design has been described as "living art". As early as the Middle Ages, sculptors had studied plant morphology and understood that the external form of plants was always manifested as a function or subject to the needs of the organism; in the mid-eighteenth century, after the combination of aesthetic research and psychology, Constitute the comparison in the organic sector, it is not seen as made, but as if the plant as a natural foundation from the vitality of the natural growth. Just as Danish design leader Kay said "The things we create should be lifeful, there are beats in the heart, and there should be vitality and warmth." Similarly, the Swedish Industrial Design Association also believes that everything should reach the purpose it is trying to achieve, a chair to sit up to be comfortable, a table can give a comfortable work or dining, - bed sleep should be comfortable. In general, the organic design is to learn the things of nature combined with the idea of the designer to create a harmonious theme of man and
