Some advantages of the self-administered survey are: Low cost. Extensive training is not required to administer the survey. Processing and analysis are usually simpler and cheaper than for other methods. The reduction in bias error. The questionnaire reduces the bias that might result from personal characteristics of interviewers and/or their interviewing skills. Greater anonymity, absence of an interviewer provides greater anonymity for the respondent. The leadership development plan for the MSARNG is essential to help regain the organization’s success in areas that were neglected following many years of war. The plan will focus on using training processes to develop leadership skills in a variety of areas. The plan will focus on being, knowing and doing what it takes to become a better leader. In order to be effective the leader development plan must be deliberate, sequential and continuous (Department of the Army, 2013). The plan will be tied to the core values and objectives which start with the individual leader. The training will be implemented throughout the entire organization to ensure the leaders understand how to correct the gaps and issues identified.

I will have the time throughout my undergraduate career to cultivate this skill, so that I too will be a successful planner. I have also learned the components of setting a goal, which is that it has to be attainable and has to have measurable actions. I have decided to volunteer or have an internship every summer until I graduate. This is something reasonable since there are many opportunities in my community to volunteer, and measurable because I will be able to add the experience to my resume after each experience. Finally, I have set a foundation for time-management, critical thinking and proper communication, skills that will prove priceless to me in my profession and have just learned a lot about how I think and learn. My time in the military has shown me that I have a need for order and discipline. As a consequence, I developed a set of motives or rule of life to provide me with necessary guidance for my behaviors whenever I have similar situations. This planning for effective studying may be useful in other situations. I truly benefited in my work and higher academic they function like seeds of my professional character. Part of the planning process should include communication with the public. This can be done by giving out pamphlets, having training classes for the community; such as a storm spotters class, inviting the community to meetings, etc. In fact, getting the community to work together when a disaster happens will help in the recovery process. “Disasters have the potential to undo development gains and may themselves be the product of poorly conceived or non-inclusive development planning decisions.” (Galperin & Wilkinson, 2015)

When pursuing development plans, they are usually geared around methods to increase the state of the country’s economy. However, the ultimate goal for a development plan should be to not only ensure that the economy is better off but that the people are better off. Developing later has benefits in the sense that decisions can be improved based on learning from advanced countries and have the knowledge on how not to waste resources. On the other hand, the later you begin to develop the more difficult it will be because of the time lapse. On top of that, based on the description of the country, there will a lot of challenges, economically and politically, to endure in order to attempt to achieve development.
