“By the end of the day you must achieve something tangible in order to feel good about yourself. No matter how much you may feel you deserve a day of rest, if the day passes without some form of achievement, no matter how small, you will feel dissatisfied.” (PH.Ds, Clifton, O., Anderson, E., Schreiner, L., Pg 26) When I read this quote in our StrengthsQuest text I felt as if I was describing my own personality while starring at myself in the mirror. If there was a sentence to explain “Chrissy” this would be it, or at least a very good candidate when summarizing my number one strength. After completing my StrengthQuest survey online and analyzing my results with the three people who
Rather than focusing on what the child can’t do, focus on what he can do. Recognising that the child has the initiative to take on experiences that empowers his development. Implementing inclusive, strengths based activities exercises the way children can recognise their competencies, this also involves the relationships you entitle with parents and fellow educators to aid the child's development. Partnerships offer valuable insights in regards to finding information about the child, it is important that when working together that opinion, perspectives and decisions are equally valued and respected.
Upon completion of the StrengthsFinder survey, I discovered that my five greatest strengths were Achiever, Discipline, Responsibility, Relator, and Competition. However, I was skeptical about the initial results until I read what each strength entails. I found most of the information given to be accurate. According to the description of those strengths, I discovered that I use them daily without realizing it.

As humans, and particularly individuals, we all have personal strengths that we bring to our interactions with others as well as areas that perhaps need some more time and attention in order to improve upon them. In this journal, I’ll be focusing on four areas of strength I believe I have, as well as four areas the require further growth and personal change.
I think two areas of personal strength in being a self-motivated and engaged student are the areas of enjoying learning and organizing of time. I think
As I at in front of the judge with my music and clarinet my nerves began to rise. I then began to play my audition, which included scales and excerpts from songs, that determined whether I would be in the All Coachella Valley Honor Band conducted by H. Robert Reynolds at the McCallum theatre. After I finished my audition, the judge then said I had done great but I was still nervous inside. The next day the results were going to be posted online. That day I checked anxiously until the results were released, I then noticed that I had placed fifth chair playing second clarinet part. As soon as I received the music I began to practice because in the next couple of weeks we were going to be having practices, to prepare for when H. Robert Reynolds
My current strengths include; my honesty and passion towards my work. I have always been positive and confident regarding my aims and targets. Along with these, I am a good decision maker, due to which I can make right and quick decisions. Moreover, I have ability to motivate others and do team work. I am also a responsible person, when I make a target; I work day and night to achieve my goal.
Trying to decide what your personal strengths are, is hard. For myself, I have grown in my strengths, and I’ve experienced my weaknesses. My personal strengths consist of: positivity, encouragement, laughter, and love. I pick these four because I feel that I am truly strongest in these aspects of my life. Being positive is a big factor in everything I do. I always want to be happy and joyful; not only to display Christ in me, but to make others feel the way I do. I want others to appreciate life and to feel any kind of uplift in his or her spirt. Positivity plays into encouragement. I make it my goal to make others feel better about themselves. My goal coming into college was to learn and know every person(s) name that I got the chance to meet. Just taking a few minutes out of your day to truly get to know someone, is such a blessing. It not only blesses me in new friendships, but it also blesses others because they feel that someone genuinely cares about them. Laughter is another characteristic I strive to pour out onto others. I laugh at practically everything. I love to laugh, and I love to make people laugh. I’ve learned the importance of laughter, and I just want to make one person smile every day. Love is my last of the four attributes. Love is so important to me. I love creation (Trees, birds, squirrels), God, and I love people. I just want the love that God has given me, to pour out onto others. I want others to know that I love them. These are my personal strengths
In my view, the ability to recognize personal strengths and weaknesses is a key skill needed to become a successful person. Upon the realization of my weakness in certain areas of my life, I work to improve myself in such areas and thus, consider this personal characteristic to be one of my strengths. Persistence is another personal strength that permeates into other areas of my life. The persistence to be good at anything I do helps me use my personal strengths to improve myself in the areas where I am weak. I set high standards for myself and believe in doing things well in order to be
