Myrtle Beach, South Carolina attracts about 14 million visitors per year because of its warm weather, beaches, and activities.
During the summer of 2015, my brother, Ryan and I traveled to Fayetteville, North Carolina to visit my cousin, Julian, aunt, Heather, and uncle, Rich. As they have a condo in Myrtle Beach, Heather wanted to take us there. Julian was going to go along too, but Rich had to work at his dental office so he couldn’t make it.
After spending about three days in Fayetteville, it was finally time to take the drive to their condo. Its an activity that non surfers can enjoy with a similar experience. I loved searching for the perfect waves to get my farther and farther up shore. Boardwalk is similar to a fair on the ocean. It has several shops and restaurants along the area's borders. It also had games and rides. Before shopping we went to a fancy seafood restaurant where we had lobster, crab legs, salad, bread, and pasta. When we finished with the meal, we began our adventure along Boardwalk. We stopped in many shops but what caught my eye was a boat in the center of the Boardwalk doing fast turns and tricks. We found out that people can ride on them, so naturally, us kids wanted to ride on them. We found the ticket booth, bought our ticket and waited for our ride.
The ride was full of adrenaline. It actually felt like a rollercoaster and that you were going to be launched out. Nonetheless, I would do it again.
We returned to our condo to sleep after some shopping, eating, and lots of walking. The next morning we were to head back to Fayetteville .
