Change is an important part of the company life. Changes are done to have a better process and meet the clients expectations. I am in full support of change if the change is taking the company in the right direction. Any changes in the company process or direction are always communicated to employees in a meeting and their feedback is taken into consideration. Employees are motivated to fulfill their duties and responsibilities without being felt left out.
I implemented the change in a way we record the account numbers for Trial Balance in accounting software. All of our in-house clients have the same account numbers. Having same account numbers across files, assist us in reducing the time it takes post adjusting entries.
At my work location, we have employees from the different background. All of them came with diversified skill sets and have experience in different fields. Our firm respect the importance of diversity and individuality in the workplace. With a diversity of employees which often leads to having a different

I attempt to create an environment which encourages positive relationships, teamwork and happy employees.
There is a very low level of conflict at our workplace. In case if there is a difference of opinion on any matter these are resolved in a professional manner. There are clear company policies and procedures which employees can follow. I have handled most of the conflict with very professional manner. I always try to provide an accounting standard or ethics reference or ruling from Income Tax Act to support my point. This provides an opportunity for other employees to develop their skill level and knowledge.
In case there is a conflict of opinion, I show a willingness to let others have their say. This gives me an opportunity to think about and come up with better response to their point of view. This type of technique helps to build a better employee
Many people assume that introverts are quiet individuals, and because of this characteristic it makes them less qualified to become leaders in the workplace. But contrary to popular belief, introverts are capable of being great leaders. In the workplace, introverts face the problem of being overlooked for leadership positions and those roles often go to “more qualified” extroverts. But if introverts were given a chance they would be able to prove that they can perform just as well, if not better than extroverts in leadership positions.
Every work environment is full of different types of people. Every one person treats their job differently than the next. I have worked in plenty of places where I have seen people who are unique compared to one another. Some people really work hard and appreciate the opportunity they have been given. Others, however, take the job the received for granted, and abuse the privileges that have be given to them. I personally think hard work and dedication to the job I am currently working is important, but some would people disagree. Throughout my working experience, I have worked with many different types of people.
Why am I here? I am here because I am everywhere that I am invited. I am here because that is my job, that is what I have been doing for years and years. Does it mean I endorse any meeting I attend, or any Eritrean configuration that I see? Nope. Do I feel comfortable to talk about diversity in a very congregation that has no semblance of diversity? Not at all. If I did, I will betray the cause for which I struggle. When I see warts in our operations, I have to mention it. I do not feel comfortable as the only Muslim among the 21 assembled "speakers" or "panelists," among who are people I respect very much. And I have to emphasize, I object to tokenism even if I understand it is not for lack of good intentions.
- I’m a life-long-learner; I’m always learning how to make anything I do better: it could have been my experience in student teaching, my volunteering with the Park Service in Morristown, or my substitute teacher experience. I try to work closely with my colleagues of a daily basis to improve upon our skills and our interactions with others. I try to make sure that all visitors and students are respected and get the support and help that they need. For example, I have been informed many times that I make the experience of volunteering with the Park Service such a enjoyable experience that many people want to give back to the Park Service and volunteer themselves.
Diversity management is important to every company because no one wants a cookie cutter company and if you don’t you diversify that is what you will have.

As generations grow and replace older workers, more and more acceptance of differences becomes the norm. Younger workers have been through schools and training where diversity is a part
As a new employee, it is important to know and understand the work culture and environment that you have become employed in. I think that most of the time you mustobserve and feel out other employees about is acceptable or not acceptable. As a new employee you are not only being reviewed and monitored by your work performance but by how you dress, communicate and fit in with your co-workers. Try to learn the work culture expectations and job responsibilitiesby asking your manager or an experienced professional co-worker for help. Asking questions for clarification is better than just assuming and making an error that could impact and looking badly on your job performance or employment with your office. I think you need to be yourself but
Diversity in the workplace is important because it increases creativity, encourages personal growth and encourages independence. IT companies should embrace diversity because it results in smarter, higher performing employees and teams. Failure to attract top talent will result in IT companies missing out on great candidates. Here are three companies that are leading the way with diversity and inclusion.
I interviewed my brother Michael Joseph Kerrigan he is an engineer for SSOE which stands for Samborn, Steketee, Otis & Evans the founders of the company. he does several different things, such ac presentations for the project he is working. Most of the work he does hast to do with the design of semiconductor factories and he also designes cooling systems in warehouses.
In a world where diversity is becoming more common than not, it still seems to be the cause of some people being the minority in the work place. Diversity is defined as being a state of variety or a range of different things. A business can be diverse in a way that their people present different skill sets. In order to grow and learn, a business must be run with a diverse group of people teaching their skills, expanding their horizons and putting their passion to the test to make sure their business is successful in every way. People can be diverse in the way that they look or the way that they think or speak. If there was no diversity in the work place, then there would be nothing to
The civil rights of 1964 states that ethnicity, gender, national origin, race, and religion are all factors that impact problems of diversity in the workplace (Oyler & Golden Pryor, 2009). Overall, target populations that are impacted by diversity issue in the workplace are employees from different cultures that may or may not hold English as their primary languages such as India, China, Japan and Hispanics. India, China and Japan often have an exceptional education, here or abroad, in science and more technical fields (Suttle, 2015). Japanese employees in a marketing department can better identify and communicate the problems and needs facing Japanese consumers. Hispanic salespeople would be much more effective in communicating with Hispanic
I currently work for a financial institution located in Wilmington, Delaware. This organization has being around since 1988 with a history of innovation, from a small bank division to now a fortune 500 company, I must say that I absolutely love; working for this company. I am always in high spirit to go to work in the morning; because my employer cares about me. My supervisor has an open door policy; I can stop by his office anytime without a schedule meeting. Also, He values my opinion, believes in me, and always looking for ways to help me accomplish both my personal and team goals. My job is home away from home, I fit perfectly in this organization and adapt well to its changes, and I always had some of their culture instilled in me, because I think independently, especially when collaborating with others and never timid to share my creative ideas with senior managers.
Throughout my time in undergraduate classrooms and my three co-ops, I rarely had the diversity in personal and professional backgrounds that I was craving. Lacking exposure to differing viewpoints, I sought out with determination an environment that not only was a premier industry leader, but one that would showcase people’s vibrant cultures and celebrate cultural diversity. Joining Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) has been a transformative experience that has provided me with a depth of understanding and confidence about global landscapes through working on projects and with clients around the world. At SOM, creative collaboration is the guiding force between various disciplines and we have thus been able to achieve remarkable innovations
An employer should be especially open minded when hiring or dealing with employee conflicts. Having a diverse workplace can help bring perspective, new ideas, and possibly more support or customers. But the definition of diversity has evolved over time. Diversity in the twenty-first century has become a normal vocabulary word in everyday communication.
