They feel like they are an nobody and feel as thought they are an useless person. Bullying happens every day to teens. There are many reasons why people bully some people do it because they are under peer pressure and because they feel empty inside and need to make someone else sad and that is the only way an bully can feel happy inside. There are lots of types of bullying. One is cyber bulling that is when someone send you threating messages that is saying that they are going to harm you. The other is physical bullying that is when someone uses their body to harm you like pushing you
Physical bullies are what they’re called physical, because they are known to kick, hit, push, trip, or cause any physical harem to another kid. Verbal bullies are the bullies that use their words to belittle their victim. They resort to name-calling, racial slurs, cruel comments about a person, or comments about their victim’s physical look. This type of bullying is the most common type of bullying and is reported the most. Relational bullies are the bullies that make it hard for their victim to be accepted by anyone. The bullies will single out the victim for all peer groups. This type of bullying is done mainly by a bullying spreading detrimental rumors and using extreme verbal threats pertaining to their victim (California Department of Education). Finally, the last type of bullying is cyber bullying. This is done by the bullies using the different social media sites to bully their victim. Cyber bullying is the use of electronics, phone, computer, etc. to post cruel and hurtful comments, pictures, and rumors about someone on the internet or on instant messages. There has been a high increase of teen suicide due to cyber bullying.
Bullying is one of the leading causes in teen suicide today. People bullied in the past or present have been studied and it has shown that they have a lower quality of life. Though they have a lower quality of life, the have better physical and mental health. (“Seaman” 1). Studies have shown that most bullying happens in middle school and high school. There is bullying in elementary school but it is minimal and less serious (“Bullying Statistics” 1). Most kids refuse to speak up while being bullied in fear that the bully will just taunt them more (“Cyber-Safety Act” 2). Bullying has become a very serious issue regarding our society today.
Bullying is happening all over the world and it is a huge problem. According to www.bullyingstatistics.org, victims of bullying are between 2 to 9 times more likely to commit or consider suicide. If bullying is stopped or lowered around the world, the suicide levels would drop as well. Telling about bullies can help others going through it.
With bullying, boys are highly to be attacked by a bully with physical abuse and girls are likely to be bullied indirectly. Statistics show that 15 to 25 children commit suicide. There have been many young people wo have committed suicide due to being bullied. These young peoples names are Ryan Halligen, Phoebe Prince, Dawn Marie Wesley, Kelly Yeomans, Jessica Haffer, Hamel Natosh, April Himes, Cherice Moralez, and Rebecca Ann Sedwick.
On June 14th, 2014, my friend committed suicide due to bullying. He was bullied, for many years and never wanted anyone to help him out. For many decades now, bullying is a growing concern in our society. Bullies are selfish, ignorant kids trying to become more popular. Bullies are away many snatching people’s self -esteem, rights and ending many people’s lives.

Teen suicide is when the teen takes their own life due to a dramatically event that they cannot handle, and they feel their no way out but just no being there. Teen suicide happen more during the adolescent stage. It sad to report the third cause of death for a person 15 to 24 is suicide. The Disease of Control and Prevention has mention that it has a least been 25 attempts are made from every completed teen suicide, it points out there are a lot of teens that have experience a dramatical event in their life and they turn to killing themselves because they could feel no way out or no they could feel not love. Bullying has cause a lot of teen suicide, and that is sad. The city where I live in Macon, it has launches Anti- Bullying Program, there have been numerous volunteers has put series of summer program to help kids cope with bullying. June O’Neil the executive project mentor director has offered bullying program in the beginning of summer because, “a lot of children don’t feel safe to get outside and on the street in their neighborhood”. When a teenager is picked on and bullied, it makes them feel worthless and that everything would be better if they were gone. When you bully someone, you’re making them weaker and weaker, and pretty soon it could be so bad that they can’t take it anymore. That’s when they start thinking of options to make it end. Suicide! Teenagers are more likely to commit suicide than kids. Suicide is the third leading cause of teenage deaths every year. Every single day of every single year, a teenager commits or attempts suicide. Imagine how many teens that would be! Suicide also have some effects. They can have an impact on at least six other people. It could be their family or friends. A lot of teens commit suicide due to bullying because it makes them feel unwanted and lonely. When everyone is picking on them they feel like they have no friends, and no one to turn to or talk to. Also kids and high school tend not think long term and don’t look at the bigger picture. An example of this in Hamlet is when Ophelia drowns herself in the river because she thinks Hamlet doesn’t want her and that he doesn’t love her. Another example although its not in hamlet a transgender teen in Texas committed suicide because she was bullied every day at school and hated going to school as a result of that. Eventually she committed suicide because it had gotten so bad. Also, now with social media being as popular as it is almost everyone has a twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. so that could allow people to harass them on there or commit
Bullies make people very upset. Sadly, people have done or tried to do suicide because of bullying. One in ten people leave school because of bullying. People get upset because the bullies put something in their head and they try suicide or they leave school. Bullying is responsible for making students upset, scared, can give them depression, and more. That proves that bullying makes people upset because if they get depression that is caused by them getting scared and upset. When students get scared or upset then they will not want to go to school or they will put themselves down. Bullies also get away with bullying.
Bullying has become a major issue in the United States and around the world. What brought the attention to people about bullying is the number of suicides that are committed by adolescents and the stories they share online or live television. Bullying is categorized to be direct verbal, direct physical, and indirect forms. Not every person has an idea how terrible bullying can be and how harmful it is to the victim. Bullying has driven students to commit actions they have never done before such as cutting themselves, suicidal thoughts, health disorders, and bad behavior. Bullying must be taken seriously, because it results in negative effects on its victims and may drive students to commit horrific actions. Lawmakers should draft anti-bullying legislation, students should stand up for one another, and society should work out what can be done to combat this problem.

Many people do not realize how serious bullying has become. If you look at statistics suicides due to bullying have increased over just a few short years. This has become a very big problem for not only the victim but the bully as well as it affect both of them. School bullying is mentally destructive to not only the victims, but bullies because of the harmful words, harassment, and physical violence involved as well as the consequences for the bully.
