Water is an essential component to living a healthy life style. 60 % of our body is filled with water. Incorporating It in our every day life will help us stay hydrated and active. Hydration is key when it comes to playing sports because it can lead to a downfall in energy and brain function. Dehydration for athletes is very bad because it leads to a drastic change in physical performance. All these are factors that play a role in helping scientists determining how much water is necessary for the human person to function properly. The most interesting part of this article for me was the fact that by drinking two liters a day you can actually lose weight. Dehydration makes you have poor performance also showed me that I need to always be hydrated when in season. Also the fact that you eat less by drinking water 30 minutes prior to dinner. Water is very important but after this article, I realized that I need to drink more water. Although I found it very interesting I do not see myself pursuing any research on this topic any further. I believe this article was used just for the sake of research. It has a lot of information of why drinking water is important but I don't see it going any further. This article I am concerned that I am losing too much body fluid. I need to drink more water and remain healthy. Also the fact that if I do not drink enough water I have chances of getting cancer. My only question after reading this article would have to be, how does drinking water enable us to lose weight? I would love to learn more about the symptoms of dehydration and how the brain functions with little
