A reality media plan for our event would be posters. Posters are a cost effective way of promotion for our group, this form communicates to high school students effectively since colors and pictures attract our eyes. Posters have the ability to stick in viewers' minds and can be a great tool for us to use to increase awareness about our event. Poster will have the main information bright and make sure that any student walking by can see the important words from our poster that will attract more people at our event. We will make sure that the posters are located in the busy parts of the school like the drop off area, library, in front of the office, student service etc. The drop off area is an effective area for a poster since that is the …show more content…
We will be promoting our event on media like Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook. We will make sure that all members of the group will post information about our event on social media because we will all have different groups of people on our media platforms. We will make sure our post on social media is bright, minimal words and lots of pictures since this is what attracts teens. We will make sure that we advertise our event on social media on many different days throughout the week just to make sure that everyone sees our ad for our event. We will also post on social media the day before the event and the day of the event so we can remind the R H King students.
Posters, announcements and social media are three effective forms of promotion for students at R H King students.
Part 3: Three promotions and Distribute
→ Promotion #1: Announcements
Announcements are an effective method of grabbing the attention of all students in our school. With the radio room and Mr. Mensher’s help, we can make a captive announcement that will interest many students. As students ourselves, we understand that many students do not have a long attention span and so we made sure that our announcement will only be a minute long. In these sixty seconds, we will only cover the key details which are as follows:
WHO: Open to all King students
WHAT: Scavenger hunt
WHEN: Tuesday, January 9, 2018 during lunch (meet by
Triple E’s main clients will be local area businesses who require access to marketing and event planning services but have no marketing/planning departments of their own. By focusing on businesses that have these specific needs, Triple E Marketing and Events will be able to provide smaller organizations access to comprehensive and combined event planning and marketing strategies, allowing them to create brand recognition and increased profitability for their businesses.
• The promoters have been trying to promote the concept through press and meeting with retailers.
In the is day and age, social media and word of mouth are the biggest advocates to reach the masses. Several methods to be
Using the Week One Learnscape, describe the effectiveness of using social media to bring attention to WhizBang Games. What are the benefits and problems of publicizing the business in this way?
While negotiating the brief I had to deliberate on the intended audience, the purpose and the genre markers inherent in my trailer. The trailer will be set in a haunted asylum, three film students will investigate the mental hospital to dismiss the rumours in a documentary format, it of course turns out the rumours are true and the trio need to try and escape the asylum with their lifes still intact. I chose the unisex young adult market for my trailer, persons aged 15 to 25. I also had to decide on what genre markers would be present in my trailer. The trailer is of course an advertisement and it's main purpose is to get the viewers to go and see the full release of the film in cinemas.
I have extensive experience planning and coordinating events. Currently, I am a Program Committee Chair Member for the African American Alumni Society at the University of San Francisco (USF). As a Chair Member, I am responsible for coordinating special events, most recently, the society 's spring event the Black Alumni Mixer at the San Francisco Press Club. We did not have a theme, but our goal was to encourage alumni to reconnect and to donate at least $10, to the African American USF scholarship fund. The budget for this event was $5,000. This budget included food and the venue to host 50 alumni. My role included finding venues, and sending invitations to alumni. Over 100 alumni attended the Black Alumni Mixer, and we raised over $2,000. Additional duties as Chair include recruiting, engaging and encouraging Alumni to participate in university events as volunteers and attend alumni events.
The campaign will be promoted through bill-boards a recognisable person in the local area will be as a model in the promotion. Business cards will also be used.
Last year I participated in Dressember. A nationwide project to help raise awareness for human trafficking. Each day of December, participants wear a dress to help spread the word that human trafficking is a prevalent issue in today's society. I would like to host a fundraiser to help raise awareness and donate money to ending modern day slavery. Since we live in such a small town, it's hard to make an impact on the rest of the nation but by doing this project we can help make a difference, starting with our small high school. Another idea I have is to host a competition against sports in each season to raise money to donate to a cause of the teams choosing. By doing this, more people will get involved and each of the teams get to show support for a good cause. There’s so much room for myself and others to grow through being a part of such an amazing student body. Starting with making incoming freshman and students that may not have very many friends feel welcome and appreciated and going all the way to trying to make our world a better
South Secondary School students run the event. They go out and find corporate sponsor to fund the event. This ensures all funds raised go directly to the cause.
Promotions such as giveaways, ticket discounts, raffles, etc. are a good way to attract fans. I would also highlight these promotions on Facebook and Twitter for all of my followers to see. Using the media is also a good use of traditional marketing because it is free. The media outlets can inform fans and potential fans about the upcoming events. This is a free and easy way for the program to spread information to the public.
Analyses market factor to determine the reach and frequency required for each of the advertising media suggested in the brief.
I was able to successfully create and follow through on the marketing plans for the following four events: Parsing Charms and Romancing Sameness Exhibit, 25 Years of Alleys and Ruins Reception, Geometric Paper Wall Art Workshop, and Picture Frame Corner Wreath Workshop. I did this by creating contests and planned social media posts including videos and live content. I even created and planned a Halloween event with the goal of increasing awareness of the UC Events and gaining followers and engagement on social media platforms. These are of course smaller versions of the marketing plans I will create in the future, but it helped me to think creatively and within a timeframe to complete the plan on time. I also had to make sure it was feasible to accomplish based on the UC’s resources and timeframe.

You have decided on a location, and now it is time to make a list of the people who will be attending. Make a list of everyone you want to attend and do not forget their family members who may come with them. You may want to allow everyone to bring a friend if they are single, or you suspect they will come alone. Fill out your invitations and get them in the mail at least two weeks before your event. Now
New media has emerged from the print media. But its target audience is different from that of print media. Today, we have young readers getting attracted towards new media. This is because they feel that they really don’t need to waste their time reading when they
