I chose to report on France because it is an interesting county and I wanted to learn more about it.

The Paris Agreement (Accord de Paris) is an agreement with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) that helps unify nations in the agreement in an effort to reduce each nation’s carbon emissions and to keep global temperatures below 2 degrees Celsius. In addition, there is an emphasis of countries working together to bring change: according to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, developing countries will receive help from developed countries with support of finance, recovery of loss and damages, and adaptation. In terms of finance, developing countries will receive funding to build projects and advance adaptive technologies to bring a “climate-resilient futures” (bigpicture.unfccc.int).
