Culture and Climate of the Organization
Burrows healthcare is a non-profit corporations governed by a community-based board of Directors which Involves clients and community members in planning and developing programs. Burrows will provide comprehensive primary care, health promotion and illness prevention services and community initiatives to a defined service area with an emphasis on priority populations. A comprehensive satellite health clinic will reduce admissions, as well as re-admissions to the current single hospital within the county. This extra resource will reduce the possibility of competitors moving into the area, specifically those from neighboring hospitals that could bring the needed services that PMH is lacking and looking to provide. Additionally, consumers feeling forced to travel out of the area for care, or those facing the potential of being transferred out of the area due to the severity of the case as a result of inadequate primary and preventative care, or lack of space will diminish through these efforts.
Each staff member should display a high echelon of outstanding care due to their impressionable experience levels and infinite amount of training. The majority of them will have advanced credentials in specialty areas. The nurses and other staff members emphasize family and patient education to increase the possibility of independence.
The importance is to foster community engagement, community, stakeholders and Obligation to Engage (of Health Service Providers). The “local health integration network shall engage the community of diverse persons and entities involved with the local health system about that system on an ongoing basis, including about the integrated health service plan and while setting priorities” (c. 4, s. 16 (1)) CE was established as a core function of the LHINs, with the understanding that regional planning is a more appropriate method for assessing and interpreting the local needs of a community. CE needs to be purposeful, accessible and its products transparent to the public and LHIN decision makers" (More about …,

To add an additional 128 bed facility in the county could prove to meet a high need within the county. Due to the high rate of growth within the Jasper area, in addition to the limited nursing home access there currently (with Jasper Gardens as the exception), this seems to be a good place to add
The secondary issues are lack of clearly defined roles. The physicians’ primary role is to provide patient care; however, the physicians are performing administrative duties such as scheduling clinic coverage and maintaining adequate medical supplies in examination rooms. Such task should be assigned to administrative assistants. Undefined employee roles create problems because some tasks remain unfinished.
There are physicians, recreational therapists, dietary/nutritional and nursing staff as well as Environmental staff. You have administrative professionals including the facility administrator, Director of Nursing and Human Resource Personnel.

The town of Groesbeck houses the county hospital, Limestone Medical Center, and it is centrally located. There are two health clinics both employing several physicians located in Groesbeck, and one Nurse Practitioner in private practice. There are no specialists in the area, a patient would have to travel to Waco to visit one. As far as other health services, there are two dentists, one optometrist, and one massage therapist. There are no mental health services in Groesbeck, and this is a huge issue. The county mental health facility is located about 15 miles away in Mexia. There are limited appointments, resources, and services offered at this rural facility. One nursing home is present, but there is no
