The expected pattern starts at 0-3 years where a child is expected to develop the most. They have little control over their bodies at 0-1 years and are dependent on their natural instincts eg: sucking, grasping.
I always try to respect race, religion and cultural identity as there is the need for continuity and security, This is one of the reasons why I always address each young person by his/her name.
All children and young people develop at different rates, but the order which they advance in differs very little. Children’s development tends to progress from head to toe, inner to outer, from simple to complex and from general to specific.
Many people have different passions, some might share the same ones while others might have some that no one has heard of before. Mine would have to be anything that had to do with working with kids. I love teaching them, babysitting them, and even playing with them, it's a new and different experience every time. I find it amazing that you could learn more than you think from someone who is 10+ years younger than you. They can teach you the smallest things that you never realized they could. For example how they treat everyday like a new one, they don't focus on the past events from the previous day they always have a fresh look on things; which can be hard to do as you grow older. Children have this energy to them that can’t be found in adults
My dad, because he has a good job and he can be lazy whenever he wants to and he gets to buy whatever he wants.
* try to make stepping movements if they are held upright with their feet on a firm surface
A child's development affects how they learn. All children don't fit the norms of development but not all children should be looked down on because of this. The development of the body and mind leads to the development of skills a child learns in life. Teachers need to help the child expand their skills and the knowledge to do the skills well.

‘’We are moulded by and re-moulded by those who have loved us; and though the love may pass, we are nevertheless their work for good or ill’’ ( Francois Mairlac) 1. Explain the sequence of development that would normally be expected in children and young people from birth to -19 years.Children have certain basic, physical and psychological needs and if these needs are not met then growth psychological developmental will be distorted in many ways. During my Child Development GCSE I became utterly fascinated at how the foundations to a person's mind are based on the principals both instilled into and gathered from experiences as a child, along with other physical milestones such as the gross and fine motor skills. I was so pleased knowing that achieving an A* reflected on my thirst for knowledge and dedication - especially my six month detailed child study on a young, ever-growing cousin, whereby I focused on their cognitive, emotions and speech. It seems that the experiences children endure later use them to interpret their own disposition in
There are eight human growth development stages. They are infant, toddler, early childhood, school age, adolescence, young adulthood, adulthood, and finally old age. Being born is an exciting gift once you arrive. It’s like you're unaware of your presence as a new born baby. A baby cries when they are hungry, wants attention, comfort, or sleepy. Toddlers grow 30 to 34 inches in height. In weight toddlers gain about 8 to 21 pounds. They are learning how to talk and walk. Preschool is around 5yrs of age they learn ABC, numbers, math, and much more. Around 10yrs old its called adolescence. Parents strive to create an environment in which their children can thrive in. As children grow, it is important to focus on all aspects of development. While it is easy to guess how to assist in the intellectual and social development of children, physical, emotional and moral development can be more confusing. As seen in The Power of Family: Types of Families and Family Development, there are a vast multitude of ways to aide in the growth of a child’s physical, emotional, and moral development.
Over the past eight weeks I have learned a lot about kids. I learned kids need lots of space to run around in, and they love crafts and getting their hands dirty. Some of my strengths with kids would be helping them when they needed it, and seeing if they need anything. One of my weaknesses would be not always paying attention to the kid you were by at that time. I learned kids are very active, and sometimes it is hard of them to adjust to a different environment. Some day’s kids would be happy, and the next day they might be upset.
Through my studies of Early Childhood Education, I have come to form my own philosophy on child development. In HCCF 467: Philosophies and Theories of Child Development, I took the Teacher Belief Inventory which assisted me in expressing my individual philosophy on child development. This inventory is a list of 30 statements for which you rate how strongly you agree or disagree. A number of points are given to each answer given, and then these scores are added up in three categories: cognitive-developmental, cultural-training/behaviorist, and maturationist-socialization. According to the inventory, if your scores are less than 10 points apart, the teacher is not a strong adherent of any position. None of my scores were more than 10 points
