Everyone has their first memory when they have to enter the adult world, mine just happened to be my junior year of high school. This year was just a little glimpse of what was going to be the rest of my life. Getting my first job was bitter sweet. I had to learn how to manage my time between school, sports, and now a job. After my first week of school I had to start my new job.
As teenager, many people say their adolescence is one of the most important phases in anyone’s life. As a teenager, you get to experience many great events like going to high school football games, dating your first boyfriend or girlfriend, getting your driver license, and graduating from high school. As I look back, I believe that getting my first job was the most important event in my adolescence. I was very enthusiastic about getting my first job. I enjoyed that fact that I will be able to earn my own money and not having to ask my mother for any earn. Surprising, there was only one obstacle that was holding me back and that was the fact that I was a
My past place of employment had a high level of excellence and a high level of trust. I was employed at this facility for 11 wonderful years. The upper management was involved with all of the employees and remained available for employees for with any concerns and they had encouraged communication. A new manager was hired on my unit and she had earned the trust of the staff rather quickly. Trust was obtained by working alongside the staff, assisting with tasks, and maintaining effective communication. The manager’s expectations were clearly identified and ideas provided by the staff were valued. Although meetings were held in a professional manner, nurses felt they were able to discuss concerns and feelings, freely. When managers openly
The theme of this reflective account is engaging children in participation, and enabling children to have a voice. The Every child matters documentation (Department for Education 2010) focuses on the important role of the adult in enabling children to make decisions and encouraging them to participate and make a positive contribution. As a result through this account, how children in my setting are encouraged to participate in the outdoor play space will be explored. A small piece of research was carried out which will be reflected on, as will theory relating to children making a positive contribution in the early years.
Reflective writing is evidence of reflective thinking, which is a beneficial learning tool as it allows me to critically think about my personal employability skills. This self-reflection mode of writing allows me to recognise and identify my current skills, strengths, weaknesses, progress and achievements.

When there was nothing else for me to do and my supervisor was on the phone, I began doing some homework until she gave me the next task. My supervisor was very rude and told me to closed down what I was doing, not caring that I was in the middle of a quiz. She scolded me as if I was her child and told me I was not allowed to do my homework there no matter if everything else was done and she was on the phone. And I asked her if I was supposed to sit there and do nothing until you get off the phone and she never answered. I told her I did not mean to disrespect her in any way by doing my homework there but I made sure that everything else was done before doing so. I stated that I was not sure how long she would be on the phone because the last
Accountability is a vital aspect of having an efficiently run institution, organization, or company and it begins at the top. I once worked for a supervisor who I believed at one point was the ultimate micro-manager. We initially would start our day at the office, then make our way into the field where we were responsible for investigating our cases, checking complaints, or conducting surveillance. He was relatively new to the unit. So he used the telephone calls as a way to get to know the team and account for our whereabouts through the day. It was not until my partner, and I were checking a complaint, and it turned out the be very active as we made it on the scene. Our sergeant was the first person we called to get additional cars

I am a perfectionist; always have been, always will be. Whether I want it to or not, that applies to every aspect of my life; including my writing. It is almost impossible for me to sit down and work on an essay or read a book without having flashbacks to countless lectures, posters, and reminders. The correctness of my writing and all of its components are very important to me. Specifically, I like to put in extra effort on my transitions, word choice, fluency, and overall likeability… Basically all of the things you see on classroom posters from kindergarten on. As I progress throughout my education I have come to realize that writing gets more complex as the years go on, but the same rules stay in place. No ‘run ons,’no using your introduction

During this semester, I have learned a great deal about my own writing, and writing in general. One of the main takeaways from this course for me was how to break down the intricate process of writing papers. In addition, I developed viable skills regarding going into more in-depth detail during each step of the writing process. I enjoyed having the freedom to write about a topic that I was able to choose. This allowed me to research and write about something that actually interested me immensely. Having to work with one topic for the entire semester taught me how to find reliable resources and how to pick out the essential research from each article.
Specific plans and projects. Scheduling is concerned about the implementation of activities necessary to achieve the laid down plans. The function of control is to institute a mechanism that can trigger a warning signal if actual performance is deviating (in terms of time, cost and some other measures of effectiveness) from the plan. If such a deviation is unacceptable to the concerned manager, he will be required to take corrective action to bring performance in conformity with the plans. The PERT and
