Gina wakes up at 7 am Monday-Thursday for her Marketing class that begins promptly at 8:30 am. The first thing she checks is her IPhone, to see what her friends have been up to on their spring break. She answers any texts she received throughout the night and finally gets up and begins her day. Gina rides to school in a 2013 Fusion, which she pays for herself, which is why she wasn’t able to go on spring break this year because she needed to put money aside for the car. Even though she didn’t get to go on vacation this year she still loves hearing the updates from her friends, it makes her feel connected in a sense.

Matt uses his phone to spread messages to his family and friends about community service and connects with other non-profit organizations around the country to see what they are doing in their communities that he can try. Eventually, he is considering opening his own non-profit organization. My Story:
As teenagers in high school are in their final year of school, a sinking feeling sets in that you have to make a decision about what the next steps in your life are. For myself, I chose to take the less expensive route and stay closer to home. But most of my closest confidants respectfully chose routes they saw fit for themselves. This would end up meaning that I would not be five lockers down from people that I have been friends with for six plus years, which was a hard realization to come to. By the start of college, I would have friends at MSU, Grand Valley, CMU, California, Florida and England. With friendships being a huge priority to me this was not an easy thing to go through at the time. Knowing that the people I spent every day with
By completing the interest survey, I felt in the position of a student: to have to think on unusual things and understand that they are part of who I am. I realized that I could know a bit more about me. I learned about my favorite food and my favorite singer, which are different from 10 years ago.
1. A 23-month-old infant with a heart condition presented to the ED. The physician examined the infant and , after reviewing the patient's history of a heart condition, ordered a transport to a specialty cardiac hospital. This specialty hospital is 150 miles away from the current hospital. The physician accompanies the patient in the ambulance to monitor blood pressure and pulse oximetry and to review portable ECG tracings. It takes 1 hour and 44 minutes to transport the patient to the cardiac hospital
This is my fourth semester attending Lamar Institute of Technology. The thing that seemed to be most difficult was that most students are not offered outside opinions on teachers and the classes offered. It seems like a challenge due to the fact that as students he or she does not know what he or she are getting into.
There are many different types of animals that work for us. There are three types of service animals that help the disabled. Guide animals assist the blind, hearing animals signal the deaf, and there are many other animals that help persons with other disabilities. Another way that animals work for us is by providing emotional support to those with mental health issues. These animals are usually prescribed by a doctor and they are called emotional support animals. One last way that we can see an animal working is in the military. There are many military working dogs that serve to protect us just as a
For this week’s discussion board question I decide to go out and try to find details about a person and see if I could get them to let me use their phone. I thought that this would be a challenge and people would be very unlikely to trust a stranger who they didn’t know and expected to be rejected multiple times. I also thought this would be difficult for me because I am a very introverted person and don’t feel comfortable talking to people if I don’t know them. Amazingly, it was very easy to do and on my first try I was able to get someone to let me use their phone.
When I first took the test to see what I scored, I was surprised with many of my results.
I am a highly quantitative person and I appreciate when people bring numbers with their analysis. I love to use probabilities to measure the possible outcomes of my decisions, even when they are non-work-related. According to Pythagoras, “All things are numbers” and I completely agree with these words, so before scheduling a meeting, send in advance any quantitative analysis you may have done. Additionally, I am a very visual person and I understand better when I see something, so please try writing down your ideas before scheduling a meeting;
While looking over my answers on the “Multiple Intelligence Scoring Sheet”, I’ve noticed that I only have “strong abilities” in the musical category. However, I also have abilities in interpersonal and intrapersonal as well. I honestly do agree on with Howard Gardner’s Theory and his descriptions because each category is written with logical meanings. After reviewing the types of roles that I was put in; the three listed are actually perfect for me, and the others don’t quite correlate with me personally, except spatial-visual.
I requested a check on 01/19/16. Sangeeta said she did not received a check payment for this invoice and did not make a payment to this account. I called AmeriPower and I was told this account has been passed due on three different occasion. I resend this check request to Sangeeta for payment again today.
Cathy, i know very little about last year's doings of the board but I can answer some questions. The way we do minutes now is I make draft and send to members. I think all homeowners should be able to see the DRAFT and submit changes, especially if information personally involves a homeowner. Then if changes I do that. We ok minutes by email. Then send out when in agreement. That way minutes are not a month behind. If you include a message along with the DRAFT that any changes need to be submitted at least a week prior to the next Board Meeting, the Minutes wouldn't be a month behind. Just include a sentence in the current month's Minutes that last month's Minutes were corrected as noted; and then remove the DRAFT watermark before saving it.
Happy Sunday , I hope this week started out great for you. I really like the way you address week one's questions. When working in large buildings, where there is only two way up , stairs or elevator, you are completely correct, you must come down. William, I did not think about it the way you did, making everyone feelings a part by add to the planning and assign responsibility will make them more receptacle to the evacuation training. Rehearsal drills are the best it allows you to see if a plan is working effectively, if you can't do it any certain time , their is time to make adjustments for improvements. I think the United State government has put more force on crisis situations since the 9/11 attack. Another crisis like

I personally believe that Habermas is trying something quite idealistic: conciliate the principles of liberal democracy, such as the state neutrality regarding beliefs and deliberation using arguments accessible, understandable and acceptable by all the citizens, with religious principles, not only considering them legitimate but at the same time indispensable for a democratic coexistence. I do not disagree with a pre-disposition to listen to each other and be open to see the potential truth-content, translatable to values of public reason, such as solidarity or the respect to certain human rights. When Habermas indicates that if the State obliged the believers to argue “like if God did not exist” it would involve a huge renounce for them and inexistent
Growing up with parents and relatives who lived through the Vietnam War, I have many opportunities to hear stories about their lives during that period. Most of the stories told by my parents were about how, as young children, they learned to take care of themselves while their parents were working away from home or fighting in the war. Due to some circumstances, they sometimes had to move to another town. And Facebook did not exist at the time. They had no way to stay in touch with old friends, and their only option was to make new friends each time. Many of us who grew up in a peaceful environment are used to being surrounded by the same group of people all the time. Attending a college away from home after high school may be the very first time they are separated from their friends and families. I am an example. Living on campus meant I had to be away from my family and most of my friends while adapting to a new residence, a new community, and meeting new people. From this experience, I have learned to value my background, my friends, and my family even more than I did before.
Not only am I still as confused as most of the advisors here at State U, I have another big issue with this college stuff. Although attending a Big Ten University has been a great experience, I am beginning to see ONE of the major downsides to it. Because this is such a large school, the students attending it are from all over the place. When I first came to good 'ol State U, the only friends I knew lived within a ten miles radius of me. Well not anymore!! Now I am tormented with the reality that all of my closest friends are soon going to be randomly sprinkled all over the United States. I am forced to ask myself if it was worth it. The people that I have grown with and invested my thoughts, feelings, hopes and dreams into are all abandoning me. This is not real life!! In real life, you keep the friends you love close to you. This has been like a tease for the past three years. Each time I start to get close to someone I wonder if it is a good idea. Why torture myself?
