C, is also a city with great significance in the US. DC has an immense amount of museums, with the Smithsonian Museums, the Newseum, and many others. There are many memorials celebrating leaders in our past whom have helped create and establish America including the Lincoln, Jefferson, and MLK memorials. There are many entertainment parks and sporting events in DC. There are 4 professional sports teams in DC as well as many other experiences.

There are many events that occurred that became the foundation of present day America. The five most important historical events that occurred during American History were: the Renaissance; the European Reformation; the life of George Washington; concept of Manifest Destiny; and racism. These events each had a significant impact that formed the concepts that are used throughout America today; and, if they never happened or happened differently society would have been greatly affected.

During ISIS’s rise to power, there have been several key players, which have influenced the growth or decline of its movement. The center of Gravity (COG) for ISIS has been its ability to recruit volunteer foreign fighters from around to engage in its caliphate. In addition, local people from Iraqi, Syrian, and other Nations have been key players because of ISIS’s efforts promote fear and violence against their family or communities. Sunnis and Shia countries focused on regional power and security. Furthermore, the U.S. and its 70 Allies through Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign aim to defeat ISIS and promoting regional stability. The last key players are rival terrorist franchises or organizations like AQ, Taliban, Al Shabaab, and Hamas

Isis is spreading into Syria, Iraq, and towards Baghdad tormenting the sick, and killing people till they decide to join their side ( “Isis trail of terror”).Obama said, “ Let's be clear about Isis, they have rampaged across cities beheading people in cowardly acts of violence.”( “Isis trail of terror”). Isis is growing bigger and bigger each second, and only we can stop it.

Cooperation between the United States Military and the Department of Homeland Security is essential to combat threats to America. The threat of terrorism has evolved since the Department of Homeland Security (DOH) erected in 2002. The battle that America fights against terrorist groups protects our borders more than anything else. ISIS is the most prominent terrorist organization on the world stage right now, and we’re taking the fight to them. If we are able to push back and weaken, the opposing terrorist groups, then we will limit the potential of a terrorist attack on American soil. The best way to help the ISIS

I think the most important event in U.S. History is The Revolutionary War. The Revolutionary War began with the battles of Concord and Lexington, Massachusetts On April 19, 1775. On July 4, 1776 The Americans declared independence from Britain in the Declaration of Independence which fanned the flames for the war. A huge turning point for the Americans was The Battles of Saratoga Which got other countries involved in the war to help the Americans. The last major battle of the Revolutionary War was the Battle of Yorktown where the Americans ultimately ended the war except for small battles because of unheard word of the war being over. On September 3, 1983 The Treaty of Paris was signed discussing a few agreements between America and Britain. This event is so important because it pretty much started the American country. This gave people living there a sense of nationality or pride for their country. The Revolutionary is very important to U.S. history and is pretty much what started our country.

Historical Sites: Confederation Square- A place filled with historic sites and museums. There are a lot of statues and articles on how confederation happened. Great place for people interested in history or people that are finding a place to relax

I think the very most important event in American history is the Revolutionary War. We did not agree with how England was treating us so we took action. It is the most important event because that is when America became independent from Great Britain. This war lead to the Declaration of Independence which officially said we were our own nation. Without this war we would still be a part of England and we would not be the country we have become today.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. So why is it encouraged now to act in the ways of one of the most evil group in our world’s history? The combination of regular military forces, unconventional forces such as terrorist or insurgent groups, and criminal elements working together towards a common goal is what makes up a hybrid threat. In today’s current political and economic arenas very few of the United States’ enemies could mount an effective conventional military campaign against us. This has caused many of our enemies to turn towards using hybrid threats and tactics in order to further their attacks. The article that I have chosen to write about was the Isis Syrian artifact. The reporting was about the sinful, wickedness, evil terrorist group name Isis destroying art and 20 monuments in an ancient Syrian city of Palmyra. The topic news worthy because Isis are evil people and doing the work of the devil. Nothing that they are doing is positive it is just negative and its need be known worldwide so that we can stop them before its get worst.
