My eagerness to learn and extend myself fostered a positive and trustworthy relationship with my organisation manager and staff. As a result, I was able to engage in a myriad of roles and activities such as; driving the company van to pick up food donations or deliver furniture to clients, supervising the community craft program, using the company credit card to purchase required resources, and operating as the receptionist and emergency relief worker. In addition, I was also asked to attend a network meeting as a representative of The Salvation Army Doveton, thus engaging with people from various organisations in the local community.

(Career Cruising) A great communication skill is one of the most important skills to have when speaking to others appropriately, to receive information effectively. Also, reading comprehension would be a necessity for someone to understand work related sentences and paragraphs in an important document. Always be an active listener, by giving full attention to people talking, do not interrupt, make sure to understand the points being made, and ask questions if not sure. The last skill, which is needed, is social perceptiveness. Social perceptiveness: to be aware of people’s reactions and understanding to why they react the way they do. (Career Info)

If I had to name a few I would say determined, fast learner, and having a curious mind. The reason I say determined is because I don’t give up easily as long as I set my mind to achieve it and am dedicated towards it. I can also catch on to topics at a fast pace which helps me be able to learn more things at a faster rate. Additionally, I have a curious mind so if I want to know something I do my best to find out about the topic and ask questions. I believe these attributes and skills will help progress along the program fairly well, although it may be a challenge. But life is full of challenges we just need to overcome them one step at a
Acquiring an international placement interests me because it would present me with an invaluable opportunity to cultivate unique skills needed for a future career in international social work. Good communication and good at resolving conflict. Can communicate their vision, motivate, inspire and enlighten team members.
I think that one of my best management skills is communication. I am very good at listening to people and then coming up with ideas to help a person become more productive. We probably all know people, either at work or in our personal lives, who are good listeners. No matter what kind of situation I’m in, I believe that I always seem to know just what to say – and how to say it – so that we 're not offended or upset. I am caring and considerate, and even if we don 't find a solution to our problem, we usually leave feeling more hopeful and optimistic. I also work very hard to effectively master managing my emotions. I don 't get angry in stressful situations. Instead, I have the ability to look at a problem and calmly find a solution. I think I am an excellent decision maker, and I know when to trust their intuition. Regardless of my strengths, however, I’m usually willing to look at myself honestly. I take criticism well, and I know when to use it to improve their performance.
My long fascination in economics subject has fueled the intense desire to chase my life target as an economics analyst in public or private sector, into which I am willing to devote my fullest potential. I believe that all the achievements during my undergraduate studies all focus on my target and will surely contribute a lot to the development both in my further education and professional career, leading me closer to my dream step by step. Therefore, I would like to apply a place in MSc Economics at Durham University.
