Jumping on the Mobile App Bandwagon: 4 Things You Should Know First
1. Nobody wants an app they don’t already understand and need
It’s not enough to make an app. Your app needs to have a clear purpose that fills a real need in people’s lives. If you, as the developer, don’t have a clear understanding of why people need your app and how it will improve their lives, then no one is going to waste their time to figure that out for you. So before you start work on your baby, take a moment to consider whether the world really needs it. In the words of Elon Musk, “Companies that don’t make good products or services just shouldn’t exist.”
2. You are not the expert on what features your app should have
If you’re certain that your app is going to change the world, one smartphone at a time, it’s time to seek critical feedback from your target audience. You know how you bought that awesome new toy for your niece and then she totally ignored it but spent the next week playing with the box it came in? That happens in software development all the time. Run your idea by at least five people before you even start. Pay attention to what aspects are exciting to them, refine your concept, and repeat. Focus on producing the simplest possible product with the fewest possible features. Users appreciate sleekness more than reams of great features. Remember, the iPhone didn’t have the ability to copy and paste until iOS 3.0!
Does your idea even need to be an app?

Every product within today’s society requires innovation to be successful within the fast moving markets of the world, and that is why I decided to look at the peak of the spectrum - the Apple iPhone.
Creating an app is a process in itself, and can be time consuming. The idea scenario would be to take and get backers to invest in the app to cut the cost. The situation that would have to be brought up would be to either sells the app to the companies that would use them or have it part of an upgrade package. If the app has to be sold to the companies using them, the price must be low enough that the company would want to download and use it. If the price is too high, the app is in danger of never getting off the ground. If the price is too low, then the companies could see it as cheap and would guess that the app would not be efficient and worth the
Creating a mobile application is not easy and it is not cheap. After talking to numerous app development firms, a reasonable quote that we have come to is $200,000 and we will hire developers to produce this app. Our app is complex, requires a database
that are already in use, there must be something distinctly different about the app in order to be issued a patent. In this extremely competitive market, most differences are very small and the time to acquire a patent may not be valuable for the risk. Once the patent is issued, a new app with a different function may have already impacted the market and the value of the original app has diminished.
The Iphone utilizes stability and functionality rather than the customization and affordability that is consistent with Android. These benefits and features target specific consumer markets that allow them to fulfill their particular niches while also allowing
We see how rapidly the market is advancing and the app industry should deliver more innovative results in terms of apps to satisfy their customers by implementing methods to safeguard them from the intruders who hurts their personal information through these applications and those who wants to grow fiscally. People in this generation expect high-quality standards and high valued brands and look out for companies like Apple who provide all these.
Currently in 2014, the iPhone offers over hundreds of thousands of apps that make almost any task user-friendly. They also have the most advanced technology compared to other app markets (“iPhone” 1). This did not just happen quickly. There was not an App Store until a year after the launch of the first iPhone. It is mind blowing to believe that the iPhone 5s has LTE mobile broadband, while the first iPhone in 2007 did not even provide 3G (2). In about five years, Apple's iPhone developed greatly when it comes to the technology within it. Also, the outside features went through modern enhancements, including change in appearance from the original, and getting slimmer with each new generation. Throughout time apple will continue to
In this new mobile platform world, app developers are the new kingmakers. Not a day goes by when someone doesn 't introduce their own app store. As the world of mobile apps continues to gain importance in our lives, the space will continue to be ruled by app devlopers .In many ways, it’s a good way of moneymaking opportunities for independent app developers as well as big companies.
In the contemporary world, iPhone has become one of the most important, world-changing, and successful products in history. This Apple, Inc.’s product has become an essential part of the human life as it enables much of what people do every day. Since its launch in 2007, the iPhone has considerably grown to become one of
The latter half of the past decade has seen new mobile development platforms emerge and become a daily part of the average citizen 's life. When Apple Inc. introduced the iPhone (one of the first to use a multi-touch interface), the mobile industry experienced a powerful spark. With the creation of the smartphone came the first, true application, or "app", ecosystem. The wide variety of mobile apps available provide quick and easy access to services such as news and entertainment to health and fitness. This event quickly restructured the value of certain mobile services and shifted attention to the seemingly lucrative new economy of app development. Abandoned were the traditional pillars of the mobile economy (SMS, telco services, mobile handsets?). These were nearly entirely replaced by the focus towards the mobile app economy. Impressively, this new economy has the largest group of developers (mostly entrepreneurs) to ever enter a technology industry. Despite the rapid growth and the wide variety of economic and consumer-related experiments being tested to expand the industry, it is still in an early stage. With the ever-increasing number of downloaded apps, entrepreneurs blindly jump on the "App Store" bandwagon (or more than 30 other new app stores that have launched). Currently, that may not be the wisest decision. The App Store hysteria is beginning to turn into a tech bubble in which most developers will not ever be able to recover their costs. Experts are
All top app development companies keep churning out new products that demand more of any mobile device. Today the mobile app design service is calling the tune for mobile design and not the mobile device manufacturer.
After studying over twenty successful apps, it became obvious that there are some qualities that make a mobile app a success. No app can be successful without those qualities. Whatever the purpose of an app is, it should have most of these qualities otherwise it won’t be a success. Great user interface is very important in the success of an app. You find out that several qualities below are meant to improve the user interface of mobile apps. Great
Let's go back in time... It's 2007, the iPhone is just being introduced. Before the iPhone was released do you remember the phones that were used? Our interactions were dramatically different. Do you remember having to click 3 or 4 times on your flip phone just to find the right letter? Do you remember the first iPhone and how slow it was compared to today's phones? The world was a different place. Thanks to innovative companies like Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, and others we have been able to experience things that we couldn't possibly have envisioned.
