On 10/28/16 at 1838 hrs, I was dispatched to an assist citizen at 5660 82nd Ter N Pinellas Park, FL 33781 regarding a juvenile hitting the complainant vehicle and leaving the scene. Upon arrival, I made contact with Stanley Wooten who advised a juvenile was riding his bicycle through the neighborhood and struck his vehicle. Wooten stated when the juvenile hit the vehicle he was worried for his well being because of the impact on the vehicle. When he questioned the juvenile, the subject started telling Wooten to “fuck off” and rode off with his friend’s away from the incident location. Wooten advised at this time he doesn’t want to press charges for the hit and run, he just wants me to check on his well-being. She advised her son Curtiss Kaiser just left 10 minutes prior to my arrival advising he hit someone’s car. Tripp stated Kaiser hid his bike in the back yard and walked on foot towards his friend’s house. Tripp called Kaiser and advised he needs to come home immediately. Kaiser arrived on scene and I made contact with him regarding him hitting Wooten truck. Kaiser explained that he was riding his bike but wasn’t paying attention to where he was going because he was on his phone. He struck Wooten vehicle and saw him coming out his house calling him a prick. Kaiser stated he got upset and told him to “shut the fuck up” and rode off on his bike. I explained to Kaiser he is not in trouble and Wooten wanted us to check on his well-being. I advised to Kaiser that he could have been in a lot of trouble if Wooten wanted to press charges.
