First, in the film, A New Hope, Princess Leia is dependent on logic and reason. To begin, Leia displays full logic and reason when Darth Vader boards her diplomatic ship heading for Alderaan, the home world of Princess Leia. After putting a message in R2-D2, her droid, Leia leaves one of the rooms aboard the ship and she flees from Stormtroopers, but soon after, a Stormtrooper shoots her and stuns her, leaving her body inert. They take Leia to Darth Vader, where Leia realizes who attacks their ship. Leia exemplifies her logic when she inquires to Vader, “The Imperial Senate will not sit for this, when they hear you’ve attack[ed] a diplomatic…” (7). Saying those words, she shows that she is trying to use her logic to get herself out of the current …show more content…
Next, after leaving the Battle of Hoth and escaping into an asteroid field to hide from the Empire, Leia shows emotion when she follows Han outside in the cave to investigate the creature, which reveals itself to be a Mynock, even though she knows it could be dangerous. Escaping from the Battle of Hoth, Han Solo and Princess Leia embark on another journey, but this time without Luke Skywalker. The Empire chases them from Hoth, but unable to avoid them, Han takes the Millennium Falcon, his ship, into an asteroid belt. Once they land inside of one of the asteroids, they begin making repairs to fix the hyperdrive. As Han and Leia make repairs, they start to speak and Leia says, “I happen to like nice men,” and Han replies back, “I’m a nice man,” and then Leia begins to say but does not finish, “No, you’re not. You’re…” (Lucas The Empire Strikes Back 47). After Leia says that, Han “kisses her,” and this awakens Leia and her heart starting her transformation from full logic and reason to having emotions. In a few moments, Leia hears something outside and tells Han. He, then, goes outside to investigate, but Leia tells him, “Are you crazy?!” and then, Leia swiftly asserts, “Then I’m going with you” (52). Since Leia requests to go with Han outside of the ship, it emphasizes that Leia establishes feelings towards Han. It shows that, despite knowing something is outside, she wants to help Han with whatever is lurking outside of the ship and hindering the repairing process. This is also the first time that Leia uses her emotions rather than using logic and reason to guide her into the future. George Lucas uses this to show that the catalyst, or the kiss, awoke Leia from her slumber and brought her emotions with her in the process of being awoken. He also wants to show that Leia is beginning down a new road because she is undergoing the transformation from full logic and

Episode IV was set during a time of war between the Rebellion, the good side, and the Empire, which is considered the evil side. The science fiction story is about a young man, Luke Skywalker, who travels into space to fight against the Empire. Luke is from the planet Tatooine, a desert, where he farms water with his uncle. Luke’s uncle buys two droids, R2D2 and C3PO, who happen to have been involved in the war and worked for the rebellion. Luke discovers a recording in one of the droids of Princess Leia saying she needed help, and that sparks the beginning of his journey. He meets Ben, also known as Obi-Wan Kenobi, who becomes his mentor, and teaches him how to use “the force”. In Star Wars, “the force” is a magical way for people to control things using their unconscious minds. Luke sets out on a journey into space to rescue the princess and join the Rebellion in the war effort. Luke and Obi-Wan meet Han solo, a pilot, and ask him to take them into space. They plan to go to Alderaan, Princess Leia’s home planet; however, they are unintentionally sucked into the Death Star, the spacecraft and weapon of the Empire. They find out that Princess Leia is being held in the Death Star, and they plan to help her escape. While Han and Luke try to help Leia, Obi-Wan is fighting Darth Vader, the evil leader of the Empire. Unfortunately, Obi-Wan is killed by Darth Vader; although, Luke, Han and Leia escape the Death Star. They go to a Rebellion headquarter and find the weak spot of the Death Star.
The Star Wars franchise has been a beloved series from Lucas Films since the first movie aired in 1977. Since then, the directors have composed a saga of movies that are dramatic and awe inspiring to the audience. In order to perceive what makes these films so popular to the audience, we must analyze the techniques used in one of the saga’s latest installments, Star Wars: Rogue One. This film was an installment meant to be set in the time period between Star Wars 3: The Return of the Sith, and Star Wars 4: A New Hope. The film pictures the events that happened in order to receive the plans for the Death Star, and interstellar spacecraft designed to be capable of destroying entire planets. (could

Her statement uses imagination because in the reading one of the forms of imagination is forming expectations. Her statement forms expectations by voting for her, she will give American workers support, opportunities, protection and so on. Logic can be found in her statement because logic is used in dramatic representations such as ads, television, statements and so on.

Even though higher yields are met for demand and human consumption, factory farming is cruel to animals due to the fact animals are often subject to harsh living conditions, more susceptible to diseases and injuries and are treated inhumanely during the slaughtering process. Unfortunately, with an increase in human population worldwide, the strain on farmers to meet the demand increases as well. This in turn causes more animals to be subject to this cruelty.
Illogical arguments are around throughout American media and culture. On December 18, 2014, Brave New Films posted a documentary entitled, "Walmart Steals Wages and Discriminates- Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price- Part 4". It featured employees who had been cheated out of the money they had rightfully earned and worked hard for. The employees discusses what the managers and/or authoritative figures would demand them to do and how they were treated. They had experienced racism, sexism and had simply been treated unfairly. The Walmart employees had filed multiple complaints but nothing seemed to phase the employers. The complaints were pushed aside as if nothing happened. With that being said, the documentary consisted of a few fallacies.
"A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." (Lloyd) is the infamous beginning of one of the biggest, if not the biggest pop culture phenomenon of our time. Star Wars is a famous trilogy well known for it's action-packed scenes and technological achievement. The movies center around the all-powerful, all-controlling "Force". With all that we have come to know about Star Wars, we have yet to discover the true meaning of "The force" and if it is really a representation of some thing much bigger and much closer to us than we think.
Hypothetico-deduction reasoning model is the process of testing a formulated hypothesis analytically through taking the patient history and physical examinations to either invalidate or confirm specific solutions generated non-analytically (Charlin, Tardif, & Boshuizen, 2000). This model has some advantages and disadvantages.
In dealing with Hypothetical Syllogism all must be true. They will always contain two premises and a conclusion. It will state if one thing will happens, another one will following. Therefore the third one is expected as well. The premises as well the conclusion have to be all in a logical form to be true.
