There is a big difference between high school and college from having bells to a no dress policy. For high school students, they are obligated to go, and if they don’t attend then the government comes into play. As for college, it 's a choice to go back to school. Students in college have variety of classes to choose from and freedom,etc. This could be freedom from parents or just doing whatever you want without parents barking at you, because you are now an adult. Even though I have been in college for only a semester, I would say that I enjoy college more than high school due to personal reason,and to pros and cons, of the different schools.

Each year schools of 25 teachers would use about 62,500 pieces of paper. The amount of paper you use each day depends on the class you have. It also depends on the teacher of the class. Schools of more than 25 teachers would use more paper. It also depends how many students are in each class, and in the school overall. I think you use more paper in high school than you do in middle school. There are three other ways high school is different than middle school.

It is a good idea to provide a separate school experience for middle school from the high school, because putting both middle school and high school in the same building will have a negative experience for middle school students in many aspects. Noticeably, the high school students and middle school students sharing the hallway is a bit destructive in some aspects of behaviors.

While some people believe that transitioning from a High School environment to a College environment is arduous, others believe it is effortless. High School and College both require teachers and work, but they both have differences that many people are not aware of. People will say that college and High School are similar because they both require effort for one to pass, but what they do not realize is the amount of effort which is necessary for each. With High School, teachers give students busy work that will keep them engaged in the class and keep them aware of the information being taught in class. In College, instructors give small amounts of work which will be turned in and taken as a grade. This is one example that shows how the two are different. Although High School and College both share similarities, they are outweighed by their differences. High School and College are different because they both vary in the amount of work that is given to the students’, the classes, one takes is their decision, and in college attendance matters.

In high school people usually fall into "cliques" or certain groups of people they hang around with. College and high school are similar; an example is that if someone plays football tend to spend more time with each other. They usually talk with one another or share a bond which no one else usually has. In high school people tend to do the same thing, kids group up with either the jocks or other groups. People just make friends more easily if they have something in common.

If students would just not get stuck into peer pressure, manage time, and be themselves, then they would strive in high school. Peer pressure is hard to overcome but if students think through the consequences and what could happen to them then it would be easier to overcome. Managing time can easily be fixed if students would plan ahead of time and not wait till the last minute. Fitting in can be hard but everyone just needs to be themselves and not care what others think about you. High school may be a time of struggle but it is for enjoyable times

Many people endure three years of middle school and four years of high school. It is an eventful time for children between 11 to 18 years old. During the adolescent years there are hormonal changes, environmental changes and emotional developmental gains. Middle school is the beginning of transitioning towards independence under the constant eye of adults. During high school they are challenged with real-world challenges that help them transition into adulthood. The behaviors of these individuals change as the factors change around them. For every person, the experience of high school or middle school may be different. Either way, both have the same goal of wanting the student to succeed and evolve. Even so, the similarities and differences vary. Middle school and high school are alike in the areas of receiving an education, socializing with others, and having teachers while different in areas of maturity, difficulty in work, and independence.

In the American schooling system, children begin primary school around the age of six, this is called elementary school and most students stay there for five to six years before they go on to secondary school which involves middle school and high school. After graduating high school some students may go on to “higher education” known as college, but any schooling done after high school is no longer mandatory.

For four long years I felt as if my high school was in a different world in of itself. I had spent that time interacting with an extensive amount of groups, or “cliques”, and getting to know what they do. Through my experiences, I had begun to realize what made this “subculture” high school of sorts run like it did. High school is an incredibly dynamic time for people, and I had changed as a person dramatically from my freshman to senior year. Like many, my freshman year was quite awkward, as remnants of my middle school self remained with me. As time went on, how, I talked to more people and grew out of my passive and shy personality. This did not just randomly happen without reason though. I began to learn and realize who I was and whom I enjoyed talking to in school, which explained why I spent so much time socializing with multiple kinds and groups of people. Everyone’s concept of “normal” was different, and high school was where I learned that lesson and will never forget.

Graduating from high school is what every student is looking forward to. However, going to college is a big accomplishment for all students. The first day of freshman high school and college feels the same, the excitement and pressured. As many students experienced, both high school and college could be compared their similarities. First, both students in college and high school are expected to behave in well mannered, attend to every class on time, and respect the teachers or professors. Second, being prepared in class is needed for the success whether the students are in high school or college. Third, high school and college allow the students to figure out and pursue their career. In contrary, high school and college have a lot of differences to each other. Unlike high school, students in college can choose a college they would prefer, they can manage their own time, and students be able to learn how to balance their responsibilities and priorities.

The high school experience is something that will forever dominate the psyche of most American adults. It was an unforgettable time of fun, rebel-rousing, summer loves and parties. It was a time of warm summer days at the pool and chilly autumn nights, watching the football team and wondering were the party was going to be that night. School dances and hotel parties. Seems like all I can remember are the good times. High School is a very emotional time for many teens and everything matters. Some may think that high school and college reading and writing are similar and that it’s just the next level up but it 's not, they differentiate in many ways. College reading and writing is more than that, it’s a completely different world when compared to high school. It’s much more advanced and complexed. Some ideas that can be compared are the way we annotate, understand text, assignment topics, the depth of research, and so on. This is important to understanding how much more you can get out of college vs. just getting a high school reading and writing education.

Over the last several decades the government has always found a way to control the personal lives of our society, and they are now controlling what foods we put in our bodies and how often we exercise. Starting with the school systems, the government is slowly changing what they allow in the cafeteria and the amount of exercise a child needs to partake in throughout a school day. In Pennsylvania, a physical education class is required from kindergarten to high school. I attended Southern Elementary school in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, for seven years of elementary school, and once a week we had P.E. class for an hour. There, we had to either play games, complete physical tests, or run the mile depending on the day. Then, for seventh and eighth grade I went to Southern Middle school, where a gym and health class was on an alternating schedule. Every day one, three, and five we were required to go to a gym class, and every day two, four, and six we had health class. In high school, gym and health classes were not required as often. I took only one semester of gym and one semester of yoga throughout my four years of high school, and two semesters of health. Only two physical education classes and two health classes were required, but many students took more throughout the years to fill their schedules with “fun” classes.
