Marketing Plan: Phase I
Overview of the Organization
The entertainment industry is a vastly changing business, although the ideology has stayed the same throughout history. Since the earliest documented cases started appearing, stories and music were used to overcome and surpass dark times in cultures throughout the world. In more recent historical examples, during the great depression, the largest break through for the entertainment industry began to show by way of movies, musicals, radio and early television. Movies really began to dawn as a way to escape the realities of everyday life and live vicariously in a world

Description of New Product or Service
The service that we are going to be bringing to the Regal Entertainment Group family is a brand new movie viewing experience. It will consist of a series of luxury theaters within the location and will give the consumer the option of having something more for their viewing pleasure. The first part of the new concept would include the theater having a restaurant and bar that would be attached to the premises and accessible prior to and after ones movie. A variety of food and beverages will be available to cater to many different palates and tastes. Being able to consume alcoholic beverages is something Regal Theaters have never had and would range from tap, bottled beers, wine, and cocktails. This added dimension will also flow into the movie viewing experience by having waiters that will serve to costumers while in their seats. A button can be pressed for service while in the theater and once the movie starts the service will no longer be available so not to disrupt the movie.
Inside the theater the seats will have plush luxurious recliners or love seats for the couples.
Add a restaurant. A large percentage of moviegoers dine out before a movie. With the buying power the theaters have on the concession industry they could do the same with the food industry. Dinner and ticket deals can also be sold as an attractive package. Healthy options can be made available rather than the current options. (Blank, S., 2012)
The four advertisements chosen represented separate, and distinctive, themes. The first advertisement, for anti-wrinkle cream, utilized a bandwagon approach and a sense of the ideal retirement life. The second advertisement, for hygiene experts, suggests utilizing the fear of uncleanliness to sell the services. The third advertisement, for Camel cigarettes, brought a sense of nostalgia as I remembered spending time, as a child, with my oldest brother prior to his passing. To summarize, it embodied the ideal picture of a manly outdoorsman. The fourth, and final, advertisement focused on food and choices. Specifically, one pizza offered two distinctly unique flavors.
Particularly, the entertainment industry was transformed. Television shows began to focus on surreal and strange situations. Many shows had the theme of needing to conceal ones abnormal traits. The film industry based many movies on Americans’ growing interest of global issues. Radios became progressively popular throughout

When it comes to marketing the idea of a drive through grocery store there are several advantages and disadvantages to look at. This would include the current idea through company such as The Tesco concept store which is currently a drive through concept established in Baldock, Hertfordshire. The concept used is similar to the idea of my store but does not offer the complete idea of a grocery store concept. Customers are requested to give at least a two hour notice before ordering the products and the store also has a complete staff on hand to pack and deliver the products without the customer coming to
One of the first things I would do is hire a management team and develop a mission statement, come up with the name of the company, and strategy where I want the company to go and how to get there. “The mission, goals, and strategies must be compatible and integrated to reflect a clear sense of identity and purpose for the organization” (Parnell, 2008). I would use the differentiation strategy (no focus) because this strategy tries to satisfy all their customers by having a name and slogan that will set them apart from their competition. This strategy talks about focusing on speedy delivery; this will set a company apart from the other freight companies if they are able to prove they have deliveries that are faster than the competition. The Tabeo (*Est. $150) can be pre-ordered, but the seven-inch tablet won’t become available until October 21, 2012. It is sure to be a hot ticket item for Christmas gift giving. It has a 1-GHz processor and 4-GB of storage, but also can add storage -- up to 32-GB via a micro SDHC memory card. The Tabeo has built-in WIFI for Internet access. A camera on the front allows kids to take pictures and upload them to share with family and friends. Probably one of the most important features that make this tablet a kid-safe option is the bumper that protects the screen should your child drop it. The Tabeo also comes with parental controls so you can protect your child while he is browsing online.
Thus, journeying to the AMC Theater to view a motion picture is an excellent getaway from the mundane daily routines in life. Enjoying an action packed flick like Transformers in 3-D at a theater pales in comparison to watching it one’s humble domicile. The cinemas include an enormous screen that pulls the audience into the show. Additionally, the extraordinary surround sound speakers are impeccable addition to the enjoyment of the picture since it
Today the entertainment industry is the main influence among the younger generations and the rest of society. Most of the entertainment industry has a bad influence on today’s society, and should be inspiring more positive values for the public.

First, marketers must stop being distracted. Perhaps no industry has changed so dramatically over the past 10 years as Marketing. The media landscape has grown exponentially at the exact same time consumer expectations and empowerment has exploded. The marketer’s daily ‘To Do’ list has become increasingly cluttered and complex. In a spirit of self-preservation, marketing departments have sought out time saving solutions, and media publishers and media buying agencies have been quick to provide them. The outcome is a multi-billion dollar industry dedicated to paid mass media solutions that place greater emphasis on efficiency than effectiveness. Case in point…
