Every New Yorker has the right to a safe and affordable place to live in. New York’s shortage of affordable housing has reached a crisis point. Poor and elderly people throughout New York City are at a greater risk of homelessness and forced low-income residents do not have food or medical care to stay in their homes. A sinful structure of homelessness in New York City is New York’s shortage of affordable housing. Millions of New Yorkers are desperate to find affordable housing and tens of thousands are forced to live either in dirty shelters or on the streets. Recent data indicates that nearly 60,000 people, including more than 23,000 children, stay in the city’s main homeless shelter system (Guelpa). A small amount of poor renter households received a housing subsidy from the local government. Most people, unless they choose to be an outsider, want to be considered “cool.” Whether it’s to fit in with a peer group, or clique, or to impress someone in particular, like a member of the opposite sex, or a potential mate. Or possibly to gain something from an individual for financial or social gain (see “Scamming”).

Identity is what defines us as a person. Everyone one on earth has their own unique identity. To showcase my identity, I created a collage of images and descriptive words, called an identi-kit. This identi-kit shows what I feel like is my identity to myself and the others. My identi-kit identifies me as a mixed martial artist. The purpose of ID NYC was to provide a legal government issued identification for every New Yorker that includes benefits. Anyone can receive this municipal ID by only providing a New York City residents address. It does not require any other forms of identification or proof of citizenship. Thus it was highly praised by everyone who supports equality among documented and undocumented NYC residents when it was initially introduced. It was implemented to serve the New Yorkers regardless of their immigration status in the United States. But while creating this course of action, policymakers in the City of New York should have reflected on the consequences ID NYC can bring for some citizens who will acquire it. At the time this policy was created, the ramification of it was not taken into consideration. In this proposed policy reform proposal a specific reform will be discussed to make the ID NYC better for everyone and for the future generation.

This upholds the same aspect of Humanities Nebraska’s mission statement. This event is a partnership with Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and state humanities councils nationwide (“Humanities Nebraska,” 2013). The changing exhibitions bring national history and culture to small communities within Nebraska. These exhibitions are displayed in libraries, museums, and other local organizations. Humanities Nebraska supports these exhibits by supplying events based on these traveling exhibitions (“Humanities Nebraska,” 2013). Their partnership is what makes these events memorable for the community and successful for the nonprofit organization.

In recent years, public and government attention has begun to focus on New York City 's young residents between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither in school nor working. There are many factors behind why youth become disconnected. Some became disconnected when they dropped out of high school; others might be struggling to raise their own children; still others struggle with physical or mental health problems, or other barriers to education or employment. This paper will examine the implementation and impact, if any, of New York City’s E government efforts and how this can be used to reduce the number of disconnected youth. Our primary focus will be the Department of Community and Development (DYCD) since they are the agency committed to serving New York City’s youth.

In order to fix a CAC card, you need to have access to a RAPIDS facility. One of the most advanced smart ID card programs in the United States is the Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC), a smart card that serves as the DoD standardidentification for active duty military personnel, selected reserve personnel, civilian employees, and eligible contractor personnel. The CAC is the principal card used for logical access to DoD computer networks and systems, and it will be the principal card used to enable physical access as systems are installed for authentication and access at DoD facilities in the future. As of July 2004, DoD has issued over 5.4 million smart cards. (This number includes reissues to accommodate changes in name, rank, or status and to replace lost or stolen cards.) As of the same date, approximately 3 million unterminated or active CACs are in circulation.

To be an American is to have traits of freedom the thing that the founding fathers counted on is to have the will to speak freely and to have the will of religion in the constitution it say that every citizen should have life liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This impacts and brings everyone from different places to help create a society that is free. The founding fathers also counted for the people to speak for what is right. The reason is because this helps out on what the people want instead of the government wants this goes to show that the people matter and that is what makes a person happy and also makes a person feel like they have the pursuit to be happy.

Royal Ontario Museum is known to be one of the best attractions in Toronto. Out of all the guests, according to the ROM’s exit survey, 71% of guests were families. Furthermore, younger visitors, including millennials, were more general visitors whom came to with no specific purpose. A study from the National Endowment for the Arts found that in 2008 23-24% of the millenials went to a museum once in a year. In 2012, only 18-22% of the millenials did so (GBriff, 2015). The museums are consistently experiencing drop in younger visitors. The ROM, knowing the potential of attracting younger generations, seeks to appeal to the millennials by conducting best and current practice research.
