Obama Care is not helping our community. It is making some people poor, because Obama is making have to have health care although some people can’t afford it. Some people can afford it but don’t want it,and some people will get it because the want it. With Obama Care there is also less money for schools and education. It also makes colleges more expensive than they would be normally so most people don’t agree with Obama Care, and with Obama forcing people to pick his prefered insurance, people lose the right to chose for themselves.
Some people have issues with Obama Care because it is too expensive for some people to afford. “According to a recent article by US News, an average 27 year-old male will pay 235% more for health insurance

Only because Obama is spending a bunch of money on the health care. I also think that Obama Care is not a good idea that Obama is making us have health care. Especially his Obama Care wanting us to buy his health care, and it would be fine to have if it was cheaper but it is too dang expensive for some people to be able to afford. I would like it if Obama lowered the price of his health care. It would make some people feel better I would think, and maybe more people would be able to afford it. Also if Obama could make it where maybe you have to pay for health care once and never worry about it again that would make it better. I also believe that many people don’t care about Obama Care, because I think it will cut the time for people to work. I also think that it is not a sustainable health care act.
Even though some people can’t afford this health care there are other issues with Obama Care that people have. Many people think that Obama Care is not good because it’s just taking away their rights as a citizen. Many people know that Obama’s health care is making it where there is less money for schools and educational things. Only because Obama is taking up all the money to help with his health care that is not helping with our community. Also he is making the people of the United States of America pay more money just so he can do stuff to his health care. This health care is making
Despite how beneficial Obamacare has been for those who cannot afford health insurance, it has many flaws. Obamacare requires everyone living in
There were a lot of complaints from people when they found out that there was a penalty for not signing up for health insurance. This is very understandable why people would be upset because that isn’t fair, however it is fair if everyone else has to have insurance and pay for it and other’s do not. What a lot of people had to realize was that people with pre-existing conditions and people with out would not have to worry about huge medical bills due to the fact of Obama care making sure they are taking care of
Since the early days of our nation, our founding fathers thrived for change. At the peak of his election campaign, Barack Obama promised the change the country had been longing for. He promised a health care reform and new benefits. Many presidents elected after the signing of Roosevelt’s New Deal had tried to achieve health care reform but ultimately none succeeded. Obama promised change; his change came under the name of the Affordable Care Act, a bill that was filled with empty promises. The Affordable Care Act, nicknamed “Obamacare” was supposed to benefit all Americans but instead of helping our nation's citizens, it burdened them. It burdened them with higher taxes, less hours of work, and higher costs
Just like anything else that is first implemented out to people, there are also flaws. Not everything that first rolls out to the public is perfect. However, although this new health care may have some flaws in the beginning, some may say that there are a little more just minute flaws. Some may express that the new Affordable Care Act may be a reform that will hurt us rather than help us. “If there is any area of social policy in which Americans are likely to be aware that their system has flaws, it is in health care.” As if America it is not already the country that has the most expensive health care system , “Americans pay an average annual cost of $8,174 per person for their health care, over twice as high as the average Western
There are multiple problems that have to be solved. The first problem is that Obama care is focusing on making sure everyone gets health insurance. First of all, you do not want anyone to force you to get something? No! Because you know what is right and wrong for you. Obama care is a force and I think everyone can make his or her own decision if they want insurance or not. From my own opinion, I think the only solution to this problem is to let people decide if they want to enroll or not. From this, money will be saved and people can decide for their best in health decision. If we all make a change to the issue, I think the society will be happier.
The Obama Presidency is known for many things: two wars, economy crashes, government shutdowns and, yes, the infamous Obamacare. Throughout the last six years, President Obama’s agenda was set towards passing a major healthcare reform bill: The Patient Protection and Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA), more commonly known as Obamacare. Passed on March 23, 2010 under considerable opposition, ACA is widely considered to be the landmark achievement of Obama’s presidency, and his hopeful legacy for historians long afterward. The law has since survived multiple challenges regarding its legality, but its impact on the intended (original) goal of reducing medical costs is still unclear. Affordable healthcare for all
The United States has received a lot of benefits from Obamacare in helping the aid of many American citizens in the last five years. It offers many benefits that have helped people who are struggling in daily lives to get proper care. In the last five years, the health care reform has been providing a skyrocket in people to get insurance. It has also made an impact in the environment lowering any costs related to health.”New data from the Obama administration shows that Medicaid enrollment grew by almost 27 percent in the expansion states, compared to 8 percent in non-expansion states.”
Obamacare has drastically raised health care costs for individuals and families. One of the reasons Obamacare was established was to reduce family premiums by $2,500 a year (Anderson 1). However, this goal has not been accomplished yet, the typical family premiums are increasing at rapid rates (Anderson 2). From 2015-2016, Family Silver, one of the most popular family insurance plans, had a ten percent increase on their premiums price. Some states even rose by forty percent (Furchtgott-Roth 3). Middle class families cannot keep paying an arm and a leg for health insurance. Health insurance should not be a major issue for Americans, it should be
Replacing Obamacare with something that works much better and gives people more freedom to choose options that works for their finances won’t be free (Graham, 2017). This means that, there are more affordable health plans out there that can be better for people that cannot afford the Obamacare… another cheaper health care that will have a better coast. There are many parents that need something more affordable health insurance for their children. So they can make sure that they have coverage on their self and their children as well. In the United States, there are young families that can be given a change to save up money before getting the health insurance. A replacement for Obamacare could give young modest-income families the chance to set aside some savings for health expenses (Graham, 2017). It’s always important to save money because; people may not know when they are going to need money to pay for medical expensive in case something ever
A few important points, Parks (2011) found that, “As of 2013, there are approximately 44 million Americans that are not able to afford the costs of health insurance” and Epperly (2012) found that, “In 2014, six in ten Americans without health insurance could get coverage for $100 or less a month”. Now I am very open to the fact that ObamaCare has its many flaws that can negatively impact others, therefore I do not want to take this opportunity to force my opinion on others. It is important to know how much the health care system has been greatly affected by ObamaCare and to share the benefits, know the rights and protection of the people that ObamaCare also has to offer.
“ObamaCare contains many benefits, especially for low and middle income families and business” (“ObamaCare: Pros and Cons”). Many people have been having concerns on the cost of the insurance because it has raised in cost. There is a new law out there that President Barack Obama passed called ObamaCare. ObamaCare is also known to be The Affordable Care Act (ACA). The goal of this act was to make sure every American had health insurance by January 2014. ObamaCare went from being something good, to a controversial issue towards Americans. This topic is very debatable in positive and negative ways, it just all depends on how it effects someone. One of ObamaCare’s requirements were to have companies provide health insurance to people
ObamaCare and the Healthcare System Medical and health insurance is a very helpful and needed aid in America. Although not
Because millions have been able to free ride the health care system Obama emplaced a new health reform changing thousands of lives, making healthcare affordable for all people and giving citizens who are already covered new or more benefits. Healthcare has always been a pricey yet necessary asset to life. In the 1920s the middle class seemed to have struggled with the growing cost of medical visits. In the late 1920s a Dallas hospital started to offer joint affordable healthcare for only $.50 a month. Soon other states started to use the same method. The US began to identify the process as the Blue Cross. In that same year the stock market crashed and the Great Depression started. Essentially crushing everyone's financial stability, the
Throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century the United States has always had a realization that there was a problem with obtaining affordable health insurance. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) also known as Obamacare, was signed into law in March 2010. This law enables people who were unable to afford healthcare the ability to obtain a healthcare plan at an affordable rate. In 2009 a survey was taken as to the amount of people in the United States that carried health insurance. In table one below you can see over 50 million people in the United States did not have any type of insurance, which is close to 17 percent of the population (see table 1 below). “According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, “32%
Obamacare, officially called the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Plan, is reforming the healthcare industry and the American health care system: Even though this reform was developed to give America and more rights and protections within the healthcare system, many are saying it is taking their rights within the healthcare system away. The healthcare reform is said it will help tens of millions who are uninsured but many Americans are seeing Obamacare as a threat related to having the government force them into purchasing insurance or paying a penalty for not having insurance. “The law requires all Americans have health insurance by 2014 (or pay a per month fee for each month without minimum essential coverage). Although this shared responsibility provision is unofficially called an individual mandate, it was ruled to be in fact a tax and not a mandate by the June 28, 2012 Supreme court ruling.” (http://obamacarefacts.com/obamahealthcare-summary/, 2015). A total of 54% of Americans in a recent poll say they are against
