To achieve this Patagonia has six commitments aimed to benefit the environment and societal well-being, although they do not directly align with the SDG’s, they do demonstrate an understanding of the SDG’s, further supported by the company’s values and business practices. Although, the reporting and communication elements are stable, the information at times is to superficial to meaningful assess the companies impact on earth systems. There is no way to validate the impacts, successes or identify if Patagonia is achieving their mission statement.
