The holidays are officially here, and some of us may have parties lined up to go to. Some of these might even be all-nighters, and no one wants to keep touching up their makeup all throughout the evening. Moisturizer Using a moisturizer that is too rich could cause makeup to fade quickly, so it is better to start instead with a moisturizing mask that washes off, then following with a light moisturizer. He explains that when cold air dries out the skin, it can absorb the emollients of creamy makeup, making it chalky. On the other hand, going from a cold environment into a much warmer one could cause sweating, which could break down makeup. "A multitasking setting spray addresses both of these problems," he says.
