“You Love You Learn”
“You love you learn” says Alannis Morissette in her famous song “You Learn”. But what have I learned from love is the real question. Love has thrown me through walls effortlessly and has caused me happiness and misery. This has taught me that whenever I feel the next crush coming on that I need to stop and think about what could happen and who the person I like really is. Love has made me question every choice I make thoroughly. Overall love has taught me that not everyone is a good person. So what did happen to make me feel like this you may ask. Well it all started when I made the choice to date a boy as a freshman. He was two years older than me and from that point we had dated for 16 months. Well that WAS the

Karma kills man it really does. Sucks for him now doesn’t it.
This error means a lot to me in my life. It has shown me that even though someone may stick around and stay close to you, they can also be the worst person in your life. It has taught me that from now on I shouldn’t be so easily swept away or attracted to someone. Now i’m in a good relationship and i’m being treated like a princess and I know for sure that this person does love me. If I would have never gone through this pain, I would have never been in the happiness of the relationship that I am in right now. In order to see the best times we have to go through the worst times.
Everyone can learn from my experience by just being careful. You never know who you love until you get a certain amount of information about them and see every side of them as a person. You may see someone as a perfect angel but sometimes you just have to really open your eyes and view them in a different way. I was blinded by love and it got me hurt but now that I have been through it I can honestly say that I can make sure that my mistake is never repeated again and so can everyone else but sometimes people just have to experience the mistake themselves to really learn. “You love you learn” says Alannis Morissette. We learn through our mistakes by trial and error. Once we see that something that we did doesn’t work we
Through life, people experience many kinds of love. Many people often believe they love someone, when they actually do not because they may not know what the word means. As much as we want to understand love, it is still simply indescribable. As C.S. Lewis tries to explain it in his book, The Four Loves, it is still a mystery as to what love truly means. I believe in order to know what love means, one must experience it. It is quite true that went two individuals are in love with each other, they know it and can feel it. No matter how much love is studied and looked at, every individual must experience it to understand it. Along with this love lies circumstances which lead
The biggest mistake is an error that you refuse to correct. Many people pass through life without moving to the place they want to move, or quitting the job that they hate. People often grow accustomed to the way their life is, good or bad, and develop a fear of change and the unknown that change might bring. However, change in life such as a death of a loved one or moving to a completely different city can bring so much knowledge and inspiration, whether it be making you realize that the change was beneficial, or the change was a mistake and you learn from it. Throughout the book Bright Dead Things by Ada Limon, Limon uses poetry to share her stories about her life experiences such as the death of her stepmother, and past relationships. These
Being an athletes is one of the best-paid jobs on Earth. Being that they are paid so much the cost for the consumer is very high. The prices of tickets and sports memorabilia have been steadily rising over the years. The average ticket prices for the NHL, MLB, NBA and NFL all rose 5% to 10% this year, according to Jon Greenberg, executive editor of Team Marketing Report. (Mihoces).
Learning how to love someone started off with me learning to love myself. Having self-esteem, confidence, and self-pride is the first step. I can't love someone
For example, in Dillard’s story about how a guy was chasing her and her friends after they threw a snowball at the guy’s car, the lesson was to never give up on something. Through football, Dillard learned that “if you you hesitated in fear, you would miss and get hurt” (p.45) . In other words, be brave and courageous in what you
“True love is hard to find.” “Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all”. These words have been told to and heard from family, friends, co-workers and even words in a poem. (A.C. Bradley). These words are said to someone to comfort and express sympathy and understanding to one that is having a relationship issues. Only a lucky few have found true love the very first time love has entered the into their space, some have managed to remain married over forty years or more. Life’s dilemmas interfere with true love from entering the lives of the people that love has touched. Parents protecting their children, worrying about what other think, love not being reciprocated, fell in love too young, self-esteem too low, looking for
Ravi delivers the news to major and Liv that the cure is temporary. My first thought was yay now they can be together while Ravi can pinpoint exactly when Major will revert back into a zombie he will eventually become one again. Blaine’s reaction to the news is priceless “Do I need to add brains to my Christmas list?” I couldn’t love Blaine anymore if I tried the sarcasm, the snarky and the general lack of empathy for those around him except on Christmas. When he becomes a kind and generous soul or maybe it’s just because he’ll be a zombie soon either way still love Blaine. Liv’s brain of the week is Santa himself, however, they skipped the recipe so we don’t know how he was prepared. I’m thinking with sugar cookies and brain. Liv still helps Clive as an attempt to get back in his good graces. While the trio Liv, Major and Ravi search the field for the dead bodies full of tainted utopium. Love scorned Rita tries to turn Vaughn (her father) against Major and get him cast out of the company. After Vaughn praises, his work and Major even gives him a fitness bracelet.

I have had two very important instance that made me very cautious of who I date and fall in love with. These problematic life lesson didn’t just happen overnight. It was more of a build up and chain of unfortunate predicaments that finally made me act. Let me explain.
“Your assignment is to write a persuasive essay and present it to the class in a week. You will be graded based on how convincing it is. Today we will be choosing topics,” announced Mr. Bowerbank, my 7th grade English teacher and ruler of classroom 110. My class simultaneously groaned at the prospect of work. I simply lifted my head with intrigue as it was already May and about time we had our first essay. He then proceeded to give examples of topics we could choose and gave us some time to think before we had to tell him our topic. My classmates were already rushing to tell the teacher their idea lest someone else steal it. That meant the usual abortion, death penalty, or drug use topics were out. I really couldn't think of anything and the teacher was slowly making his way through the remaining students like an executioner beheading criminals in a line. I have always thought that he would make a marvelous supervillain if he had a curly mustache, a tophat, and a cape. Eventually my name was called. I slowly dragged myself over to his desk. Even sitting down, he still seemed to tower over me. “What is your topic Cindy?” As usual in such desperate times, my mind turned to food. “Waffles are better than pancakes.” I figured that a waffle was just a differently shaped pancake with a nicer texture. “Hmm. Excellent topic. I look forward to your essay!” I survived to live yet another day.
Why spend money that is really needed for other things? Why live uncomfortably? Why be trapped in this hole called a home that belongs to another person? Why not live free and peacefully? When a person rents he or she usually throws away money that could be used to purchase something that belongs to them. Money is not easy to come by so why pay out hundreds toward something that is not benefit to the person paying it out. There is no good explanation for making a decision like this. The best option in a situation like this is to buy a house. Buying a house is a better option than renting an apartment.
It starts the moment we come to this world. Thousands of people around us that we’re get to interact with throughout our lives. Whether it’s our families, friends, co-workers, or even acquaintances, we always strive to create a perfect and unique relationship with others without really knowing what it actually needs to do that. According to the Dunbar’s theory, even though we might meet hundreds of people on a daily basis, we can only maintain a stable relationship with only 150 individuals, and only 5 of which will be best friends, or people to whom we hold the most meaning. Developing a good relationship cannot in anyway be done by following a series of easy steps, rather it takes a complex group of actions on all levels to happen.
Love gives us hard lesson to learn. I learned that love does hurt and take time to heal. We build walls to protect us from being hurt again. I also learn that love is color blind. When we’re truly in love with the person we see beyond color or it doesn’t matter because that person accepts that person for whom they are. When we love those that a different culture from us we see beyond those imperfections.
Another turbulent time that taught me through failure was when I tried to arrange a birthday party for my sister. Everything was supposed to be arranged by me, so I went out a bought the invitation cards, party favors, balloons, decorations, food, and a few gifts. I filled out the invitations early and put them in a box to store them until I was ready to send them. Time flew by fast between daily life with my kids and responsibilities, and before I knew it the day of the party was upon me. Quickly that morning I decorated and cooked and prepared everything. As the hour of the party came and went, no one showed up but the birthday girl, whom I had called personally. Later it occurred to me that I hadn’t sent out the invitations! That was why no one had come. I soon learned from that mistake to be more organized and manage my time better when planning events.
My freshmen and sophomore year, I had my first real boyfriend. I was completely and totally in love with this guy, he changed me in ways that I’m proud of and ways that I’m not proud of. I revolved my world around him, which wasn’t a good idea. After almost two years of dating, we broke up and it literally shattered my world. During our relationship I became friends with his friends and I even considered one of them my best friends, so when we broke up I didn’t only loose him, I lost all of them as well. It felt so awful to all of a sudden have everything, and then just lose everything in a day. A couple of weeks later, I found out that my best friend was actually dating my ex boyfriend. I couldn’t believe that a person could betray someone like that, especially after everything that she and I went through together. I’m not proud of the events that happened after all of this, and I’m not proud of how I let them change me. The one thing that saved me was my family; they saved me in ways I can’t even explain. They gave me hope and a new life for me that I am extremely grateful for. I’ve learned to be wiser when it comes to picking friends, and choosing who to put my trust in. I also became a stronger person, I don’t let people walk all over me or I don’t let people control my life anymore.
