Eating meat has become a staple in the modern society we live in. This has led to high levels of fuel emissions and pollution. A common belief is that a meal only exists when it has meat in it. That’s not true, but society has taught us that it is. Fad diets are pretty common in the society we live in, but many people don’t take into account the planet’s health, only their own. Although, our health is contingent on the planet’s health. To keep the planet’s health up, the human race must make sacrifices to prevent the loss of our planet which will lead to the loss of animal life, human life, and plant life. Already, the planet’s biodiversity has decreased. Switching to a diet that does not include meat, specifically beef, can help the environment by eliminating or decreasing fuel emissions and pollution in general.
Agricultural practices concerning beef tend to harm the planet significantly more than other forms of meat production. One of the biggest ways to do this is by reducing the amount of meat that we consume.
Junk food is one of the main causes of obesity in America.It contains things that have unhealthy ingredients that could lead to illnesses in the future if a person consumes a large amount of junk food.But there are ways to eat junk food and still be healthy while enjoying your favorite junk foods . Over the years there has been a lot of history behind junk food and the effects of it. Some of these historical findings have started leading people to understand that the amount of junk food that they consume is something that is very important for the health.Usually a person who is young that consumes a large amount of junk food may see an increase in obesity cholesterol and high blood pressure. Healthy food should be accessible to everyone. If healthy food isn’t available for everyone all it’s going to do is cause more and more health problems. If we made healthy organic food the same price as cheap unhealthy food there would be a big difference in the health of our country. It’s completely unfair to make healthy food too expensive for other people to buy, which causes them to buy cheap unhealthy food, like off a dollar menu at a fast food restaurant. Diets that focus on animal products, like meat, dairy, and eggs, require disproportionate high amounts of resources like water and land. Additionally, animals produce huge amounts of greenhouse gas emissions that are responsible for climate change. Such diets are not great for the environment that surrounds us, but more and more studies also link them to chronic diseases and early deaths. If the way we eat is bad for us and for the environment, we should inform ourselves about the potential impact of changing our diets.
The global appetite for meat is growing and there is not enough land to keep up with it. Meat production takes too much out of the environment. Most environmental issues today come from actions that are so-called “necessary” with the way the world operates in the 21st century. Examples of such activities and their consequences is driving a car and the release of nitrous oxides into the air, or heating and cooling homes and businesses which requires the use of fossil fuels. However, animal agriculture, the industrialized production of meat and animal related products, is an industry that is not necessary to the functionality of society today. People’s desire to consume animal products is more often than not driven by taste buds, not survival. Furthermore, most people are not aware of the wide scale degradation animal agriculture causes both the planet and peoples’ health. Although animal agriculture impacts the environment in many forms, the negative impacts on the world’s limited water resource is too severe for such an industry to be able to continue to operate how it does today.
Exercise and eating healthy are two of the most important things you need to do to take care of your body properly. Both exercise, and eating healthy, have many advantages and benefits. They help with multiple things needed throughout your life. These things include growing physically, mentally, and if you are religious, spiritually as well. All of this adds up to your body functioning in the highest and best way possible. People that has unhealthy eating habits, is at severe risk for obesity, diabetes and possible stroke. The impact that meat productions have on the environment varies due to the variety of agricultural practices, unsustainable and sustainable, employed around the world (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United States, 1995). In North America a cow consumes about 165.4 pounds to 661.4 pounds of dry grass or grain to only produce 2.2 pounds of protein (Walsh, 2013). The cows that emit carbon output in the forms of methane gas from their manure, reducing carbon absorption in the soil results when forested area are converted into pasture – major soil erosion (Walsh, 2013). Over grazing or “ranch induced deforestation” by the cows can cause soil degradation and destroy and kill plant life, making it difficult to use (Walsh, 2013). Unless well

Although livestock practices have changed dramatically over time to make production more efficient it has negative impacts on the environment and human health. Fortunately sustainable solutions do exist. Others livestock farmers around the world are implementing sustainable practice that improve the quality of meat and decrease their impacts on the environment.
