TASK 1.05 Write the Objectives for the project
The main objectives of this project is to research and document requirements for a computer system for Ningbo Virtual Elder Care Service to help establish the new service which will aid in delivering the daily work schedule on-line to the mobile work-force along with relevant data about the clients and automatically generate the time-sheets in Ningbo
Main objectives of this project for computer system are as follows:
• Confidentiality: - It requires that data or information about clients’ family contact details, medical history or clinical history or any manual record of them should be kept confidential to adhere the privacy act.
• Integrity:-it instructs that data or private information of clients and services in computer system as well as the data transmitted between computer system , be free from unauthorized modification or deletion
• Availability: Keeping the information which home-visiting care staff need when visiting a client in terms of clinical history, family member contact details, or means of referring the client to other services including doctors when needed.

The healthcare system in the developing countries is facing significant challenges. Despite the high expenditure on health, it has been noted that weak systems and facilities that do not have resources are contributing to poor health outcomes. With the challenges that are affecting the healthcare system in the developing nations, the information technology presents a good solution (Cline & Luiz, 2013). The information technology has the potential to improve the healthcare system by reducing the costs and ensuring that there are efficiencies in the healthcare system. The major trends in the developed health systems are automation and proper business management. The potential to reduce complexities in the healthcare system lies in the ability to reduce the excessive use of paperwork as well as the provision of information to support the healthcare systems (Cline & Luiz, 2013).
Healthcare facilities have being transformed from what they used to be 20 years ago. However, the difference supersedes the similarities in the areas of technology. The transformation was based on organizational structure and according to their administrative set up for the specific functions they perform. Telemedicine is a new technology in which medical information are being exchanged from one place to another through some electronic communications to develop patients the status of a patient health. Telemedicine is the most newest technology which join at the same time telecommunication and technology for the solution of medical [1]. It gives a new technique to deduce health care services when there are many miles between the hospital office or doctor and patient. Rural area will get the advantages from this application. Controlling patients one of the new technology, this always requires enhancement to make it better.
Due to the increased inflow of patients with chronic and terminal diseases, medical services and health care organizations are inclined towards providing these services inside the patient's houses. Providing health care at home is optimal however many problems such as poor quality health service, delayed diagnoses and mismanagement in treatment has been observed. In order for the health care services and its employees to enhance home care services, they need to take in information technology into their medical services. Using information technology, patient records and management information will all be updated into the system so there is no delay between exchanges of information.
Example: The program will need to be able to allow employees to input time and see how much time off they have accumulated. It will need to allow them to input and save bank information to set up direct deposit. It should also be available to access across different operating systems. It should also be available to use on mobile devices.
Organizing in today’s society has become extremely easy as long as you are utilizing the latest tools available. For example, a manager can use excel spreadsheets to organize labor costs, schedule employees, or even stay on budget. These office computers can be tied into their home computer network keeping the easy access to the information. They can also be connected and synchronized with any of today’s smart phones, giving information at any manager’s disposal instantaneously.
This section of the project defines the procedures and methods used in completing this project. The first part shows various cases study done around the world to help us understand how healthcare center work. The second part explains into detail the different stages of the design process for this project and how they respond to the issues.
In this paper, we will analyze a few of the Information Systems/Technologies that are currently used by Workday and also, we will propose a couple of other Information Systems/Technologies that can be employed at Workday in future to further improve its performance.
This is a system that has been put to good use by many healthcare institutions. It is a PC based system that provides room for keeping clinical records for the patients, storing data and maintenance of schedules for the healthcare technicians. It has elements: clinical patient support and electronic media records, which are vital in making sound clinical decision in the shortest time period. In addition, the system forms a hub for training and research since the information regarding the patients may be availed to the physicians for the purpose of establishing new medical phenomena.
The new system provides the employees with the ability to use internal applications and most functions. This means that the system will help to improve time and cost efficiency and access to the information. In other words, it will help to improve employee’s productivity and the company’s high level of flexibility.
Brettamymelissa is a family owned, med-sized construction & contacting company specializes in bridge construction, concrete work, demolition work, and deep foundation installation. Other areas of work involve a small trucking operation that specializes in flat bed hauling, dump trailer transportation and specialty hauling of oversized, overweight specially permitted cargo in the regional area. Currently we are constantly expanding and contracting nationwide. In order for the company to increase efficiently and effectively the need for implementing a system that will provide the functionality necessary to run the business, that is easy and convenient for the end users, and delivers a competitive advantage is highly recommended. The system currently in place does not meet those needs and will not support the growth and innovation, which are part of the company’s future success. The company main areas of functionality are sending emails, making phone calls or hand carrying files between various offices within the company.
