When you look in the mirror what do you see? Everybody asked this question responds with a similar answer, you see yourself, of course. But individually, you are so much more than that. You study your reflection wondering what people think of you, what traits you possess, what are your strengths and weakness, and other components that make you, you. This study takes a closer look at those traits and characteristics to analyze how you are perceived through the eyes of another.
Statement of Purpose

By collecting people’s judgements of me, I am able to evaluate my strengths and weakness as an individual and as a professional. In order to be a successful individual in society one must gain greater understanding into one’s own traits, behavior, and actions that affects people’s overall judgements of that individual. A self- analysis will provide me with adequate findings to realize was facets of myself need to be developed, altered, or even reduced.
Even if this project furthers my character development, implications of this study are still possible. This research could hurt my self-esteem, make me question my actions, or even harm my self- perception. By finding out this information it could lead me to feel insecure about my appearance, actions, and traits so far in life that would be enough to contribute to me devaluating my self-worth. This information could also give me overconfidence I do not necessarily need. Finding out over positive information could harm my attitude, making me arrogant, selfish, and conceited.
Order of Key Points
The order of key points moves from the abstract to the conclusion of the self-analysis study. Key points include the establishment of the research question and hypothesis, the five questions used for in-depth analysis, three distinct concepts evaluated in the literature review related to my research, methods and procures to replicate the study, and the discussion of my findings. The discussion section included
I remember the day that critically shaped the person I am today,it started when I was in TH grade. I thought going to school was easy, but it wasn't as the adults think it was, because once I step into that middle school building, I felt the nervous, anxiety rush in my veins. I felt like I was in some kind of place that could eat me out alive, it's like that " first day of school" kind of feeling. My mother who was with me did not expect a thing, she thinks I was alright, but I wasn't. I walked into the main office asking for my schedule and then the lady in the front desk nods her head and ask me for my name. I told her my name and she printed out the schedule and gave it to me. I hugged my mother and walked to my first class. I reached to
I am Allison Zelinskas, daughter, granddaughter, cousin, Ohioan, friend, only child, athlete and more. I am unique because there is no one else like me. All the labels above make who I am as an individual. Self-concept is “The relatively stable set of perceptions each individual hold of herself or himself” (Ronald Adler, 2015). For the purpose of this paper, I put myself into four categories, culture, gender, reflected appraisal, and social comparison. The four categories combined will give you a picture of who I am as an original. I picked these four categories because I felt I could share this information about myself. These categorizes have built my self-confidence and self-esteem.
Self-Awareness, self-concept and emotional intelligence are effective managerial concepts that will result in leadership success. A self-assessment through self-awareness is key for one to understand his own strengths and weaknesses. Only after conducting it, can he settle goals and objectives in order to take any corrective action. This is
The two units that I felt I could connect the most to were the mental health and the factors affecting wellbeing unit. I think I was able to connect the most to these units because some of the things that are talked about in the units applied to my life. In mental health and factors affecting wellbeing, we discussed the different factors that can affect our mental health. One example that we talked about was stress, and this is one reason why I was able to relate to the unit. I often have felt stressed therefore, I know the effects it has on our mental health. Another thing that we talked about was how our mental health is affected every day by little things, and, I agree with this statement because I too have experienced
Everyday we ask ourselves, “Did I make the right decision?” Whether it is in regards to family, friends or co-workers we constantly do self assessments. Self-assessment is defined as a process through which individuals gain knowledge about themselves. This includes information about their likes and dislikes as well as their reactions to specific situations. By knowing more about themselves, individuals can be able to determine the work situations and occupations that are most appropriate for them. There are several lessons that can be learnt from self-assessment in relation to individual decision making. This research paper will examine reveal the lesions learned from self assessment. We will observe of the influence of the American

Being evaluated can be a scary procedure. Needlessly to say it can be even scarier to self-evaluate oneself. However, depending on the outlook of the self-evaluator, the evaluation of one’s own self can be enlightening, educational and a chance to grow. However, on the other hand, self-assessment of one’s own self can be a daunting process that leads to denial that there is a need for improvement.

This assessment shows its strength by the fact that I feel as though it matches with my life. Through this, I have gain insight to the fact that I could be helpful but almost to the degree in which I could be harmful to me. While reading the description, I was proud at some parts and discourage at others. However, I do have the understanding that every personality-type as a flaw. This assessment was useful in terms of gaining insight to my motivation, strengths and weakness of my personality. This can be a useful tool to use with clients.
On the other hand if you see yourself as an individual who can communicate without a problem and you see that you can keep others interested in a given conversations, your reaction is more positive. Through this looking- glass self we develop a “self” concept. Depending on the observations we make concerning the reactions of others we develop feelings and ideas about ourselves. The reflection we see in the mirror is either negative or positive depending on the feedback we get back from those around us. Misjudgments of the reactions of others become part of our “self” concept also the misinterpretations of how others think of us.
