Over the course of being at STLCC I have written project in a research paper format. Some were for educational purposes, and some that had a major impact on my personal life, and most importantly based on history that not many have heard about. For my project I will like to use a previously completed project. I have a very busy schedule, and I would like to put all the effort possible into this project. I have two ideas in mind one is about “Comic Books” what are they? How are we supposed to read them? Why are they so popular? How they improve grammar skills and etc. Second idea is about history and people that are living in America at the present moment. People known as “Ahiska Turks” are people that are living in America at the present moment, but they have a wide history behind everything these people went through; the …show more content…
I love reading comic books, and knowing the most important things about comic books would give an insight for the reader. Comic books are gaining popularity each day, but not many know what they actually are such as definitions, how to read them correctly, why are they getting so popular each day. I personally love comic books, they are very interesting and use of pictures paints the picture better for the reader to understand what they’re reading about. I would like to make my project based on comic books because it is an very interesting topic. Sharing my insight and helping others who love comic books to read them correctly would definitely help them in the long run. For my second project idea I would love to work on this idea is because I am one of the “Ahiska Turks”, and not many know about who they are or even where they come from. Just giving an insight about who these mysterious people are and the lifestyle they went through before arriving in America. I could definitely talk about these ideas in person and explain them better about why I would love to write about one of these
It strikes again , that feeling of anxiety that puts your body into survival mode . There are many names to describe it . Just as there are many names to describe the formidable author of children’s books . The author being known most popularly as R. L. Stine .
The Georgia Department of Human Services [DHS] has many divisions that are to assist the people of the State of Georgia with different necessities they may need. For instance, there is the Division of Aging Services that caters specifically to the elderly and to report elder abuse. With a total of three divisions and eight offices, this specific department also houses the Division of Family and Children Services [DFCS]. These representatives and workers do what they can by all means necessary when it comes to the care and welfare of children of the state. However, there are times when they fall short of their jobs
For “ artifact ”, project one I believe that I started off very strong and sharp with my topic. Project I was a rhetorical analysis essay, and the we had to define and write a rhetorical analysis about a historical speech that has meaning and emotion and that has impacted the society that we live in. The topic that I picked for project one was former President Barrack Obama’s Tucson memorial speech. For this project I focused on using fundamental elements of goal one, letter b. I was able to proficiently identify and explain how the speaker interacted and persuaded the audience to engage in his speech, I also was also able to show how the speaker was able to get his objective and main points across the audience that he was speaking to. I felt very comfortable writing this project because I was able to have an abundance of sources and vital information that would be able to help me in the process of writing and perfecting my essay for project one. This was my first time to write a rhetorical analysis essay, I do have to admit in the start of my essay I was confused on how properly write and structure a rhetorical analysis essay. After having the chance to attend a peer review group session, I was able to receive vital and worthy information would help properly understand how to go about writing a rhetorical
“Why do we take the STAAR test?” You will probably hear any kid in texas ask that question. There are a lot of reasons why we should or shouldn’t take the STAAR test, but one of the most obvious reasons that we shouldn’t is test anxiety.

From a machining standpoint, .0620/.0625 hole is not likely to be doable. We would typically drill and ream this hole, which would not necessarily be a problem. However, trying to hold a .0005 total tolerance without bore mics to accurately check the hole size is a big issue. The reamer would be .06225 ideally and with only having plug gages to check it the .00025 size difference of the pin would be problematic in determining good vs bad
The Southwestern Athletic Conference has given the NFL, the SWAC has given the league nothing.
In 1910 Europe organized the Clef Club, a society for African Americans in the music industry. In 1912 the club made history when it played a concert at Carnegie Hall for the benefit of the Colored Music Settlement School. The Clef Club Orchestra, while not a jazz band, was the first band to play proto-jazz at Carnegie Hall. It is difficult to overstate the importance of that event in the history of jazz in the United States — it was 12 years before the Paul Whiteman and George Gershwin concert at Aeolian Hall, and 26 years before Benny Goodman's famed concert at Carnegie Hall. The Clef Club's performances played music written solely by black composers,
HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System) Level II codes are updated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. HCPCS Level II codes are revised annually with implementation in Jaunary of each year. This means that coders have to stay up to date on all changes. Some of the ways coders can stay up to date include: getting updates from the CMS website; consulting with the ASCA website; network with other coders; and consulting local coverage determinations. There are also monthly newsletters published by the AMA called HCPCS Assistant that are considered an official coding resource by the CMS. The medical management software must be kept up to date to ensure the proper codes are being used. A coder should never use an older

For over 35 years, students have gone to LRCA, and the majority of them are returning students. Why is this? Little Rock Christian Academy’s students love it here, and we always want to come back. We are very proud of our effort in the many extracurricular activities LRCA provides. Most students are involved in at least one fine art, club, or sport and are very persistent in it. Because of all of the amazing fine arts, clubs, and sports, Little Rock Christian is an amazingly academic, athletic, and artistic academy.

The group I have set out to learn more about is a club based in Dallas that is called STV Almrausch. They are a non-political, non for profit Bavarian/Austrian Dance club that both teaches and preserves the traditions of Germany. I met them while at the Oktoberfest in Addison this year, and not knowing a club like this even existed in the United States I was intrigued by why people with no German links or even ancestry would want to join and spend most weekends promoting a culture that they don’t even have. I lived in Bavaria for many years even going to high school there so I knew about these groups in Germany and what they did even having friends that were part of these groups. Although I saw them perform at festivals the interworking of the clubs are completely strange to me. In my research I would not only want to learn about what the group in Dallas does ,but also have input from groups in Germany, and just by coincidence the group in Dallas has a sponsor group in Germany very close to where I lived.
Thesis Statement: Comic Books are not just enjoyable to read for most but have changed everyday life more than people realize.
The second project we were assigned that year and that I enjoyed was to research two authors from the 1800s or so, in collaboration with a partner that we got assigned to. For the first author we had the option to either create a power point presentation or create our own website about that particular author. My partner and I choose to build our
