The distinction in values isn't really the reason for employee dissonance ,but the inability to acknowledge the difference is. There are two different types of conflicts that could happen in a work place which would be functional and dysfunctional. A functional conflicts is a healthy, constructive disagreement between a groups or individual. Who is Generation Y? According to business dictionary, Generation Y is the generation of people born during the 1980s and 1990s.
