Sanjay likes to work as a team, he loves teamwork. He thrives in cooperative, integrative, and friendly work environments. He relies on the team members to help him solve problems, answer questions, and increase his work efficiency. He shares struggles and successes with the peers – and celebrates group achievements.
Working as a team pays off handsomely for him. As they say, “Two heads are better than one.”Each person has a limited set of skills and a finite knowledge base. A group need others’ help (and unique perspectives) to solve difficult problems and see beyond the blind spots. Team members benefit greatly from sharing challenges and ideas.

Young workers may have different work environment values than more established workers. The distinction in values isn't really the reason for employee dissonance ,but the inability to acknowledge the difference is. At the point when representatives neglect to acknowledge the differences, co-workers may offend each other's characters. At the point when insults happen, the contention escalates until the point that the correct arrangement is offered and acknowledged.
Competition
Unhealthy work environment and rivalry is a reason for worker strife. Rivalry that isn't appropriately overseen can bring about representatives disrupting or offending each other, which makes an antagonistic workplace. Undesirable work environment rivalry debilitates teamwork and promotes working independently.
Therefore, its natural to have such differences and conflicts of opinion at a work place but its all about bridging the generational gap and finding a common interest and working things out.

Our generation is the Generation Y, the cohort born between 1996 and 2010, is ready for the spotlight. Finally escaping the shadows of the generations before them, many Gen Y are now entering the workforce. As a result, their spending power, currently valued at $44 billion, is growing every day.
