On 1/14/17, at about 0253 hours, I, Security Officer Josh Califf, was conducting a patrol of Gateway Medical Office and was unable to locate the contract security officer.
I conducted an interior and exterior patrol of the building, all exterior doors were secure and all appeared normal. Upon completion, at about 0311 hours, I approached the front of the building and observed the contract security officer parking in front of the building.
I made contact with the security officer, identified as Chris, and made sure he was aware he was to remain on-site at all times, he replied, "Yes, I just went over to Arco for a soda." On 11/4/16, I, Account Manager Enmanuel Cabrera, was notified via email by Shift Supervisor Massiel Perez that Security Officer Bailey Forte no called no showed. S/O Forte is usually off on Fridays, but was scheduled in advance, 0200-0600, to cover the open post. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/6/2016. I arrived at the operation which is located at 3422 Richmond Rd, Texarkana about 12:57 pm. I was greeted by Comekia Island, the person in charge while director was at lunch. I handed her business card and then explained the purpose of my inspection and reviewed the subchapters I would be observing. Roshonda Epps the director arrived approximately a hour later. Now it may seem frightening to hear that the NSA has the capability to access privacies such as emails and bank accounts which leads many to the question of how is searching these things going to protect their safety? This concern is genuine, but it helps to compare it to something more well known. Airport security is something we all have to endure, and we do not have the option to opt out of having our belongings and ourselves be checked by TSA agents. It may seem unnecessary to check every single passenger traveling through an airport, but when it comes to the safety of all of the passengers on a plane, it is widely agreed to be worth it. Although not always publicly known, the TSA stops many people with prohibited items. It is
