What are our limitations? How do we know if we are on the right track? How will I know if I’m actually learning something new?” How can this be successful?”How can we grow as individuals, how can we gauge our process? I believe i made a mistake? Will I ever get this? I recall learning something new, I was as green as anyone who was there before me. I started a career at Discount Tire, fresh off the press as the veterans would call it. Nothing to this job, stand there and all the sales will come my way and it's as taking candy from a baby. I thought this would be a very interesting career that i have chosen, ‘selling tires” there’s nothing to it. You would hear it all the time, all tires are round and black and there is no difference in any tires. Well I was completely wrong! …show more content…
My first days, that's all that I heard. ‘SELL THE VISIT.” I didn't understand what it meant at the time, so I went along with it. It all began with the founder of Discount Tire. Bruce Halle is his name. He had developed a simple business strategy. Provide a service, have a fair product that we could honor and sell at a fair price. Treat all customers with respect and always address them as Mr, or Mrs. Customer. We also learned that the customer is always right. Even if the customer was wrong that was his motto from day one he opened the doors. It was simple, treat customers the way you want to be
Initially, learners will explore factors that affect learning, then plan and monitor their personal and professional
Humans by nature never stop learning; we undertake learning at different stages of our lives and acquire skills and competences in variety of areas. These learning may have been certified (by an academic or educational body) whilst others are not certified learning through work, social and leisure time activities. Recognising

We need to be amazed and interested in something if we want to learn about it. For example, is as if a boy watches a soccer game for the first time. He is intrigued by the players' moves and tricks and if he arrives at such point where he likes it, he would love to imitate them. Once he know the basics, or so called definitions, everything else follows. I also agree that the next step is to have courage, courage to pursue and do what you like. To me it is to lose the fear of the unknown, or challenge
Treat our customers with sincerity, kindness, and respect, and think of new ways to impress, delight, and surprise them.
According to Dr. Rita Smilkstein’s research into learning, the Natural Human Learning Process explains how the brain develops when someone learns. The first step is motivation to learn a new skill. People get motivated when something becomes a necessity or seems fun to them. Then the second step is the beginning practice. The beginning practice is when someone uses hands on experience and uses trial and error with the skill they are motivated to learn. The third step, she calls the advanced practice stage. In this stage the learner gains control through repetition and continuing practice learning the skill. The fourth step is skillfulness. The learner becomes more successful due to practice and gets positive reinforcement from their results. The fifth step is the refinement stage. This is when the skill becomes second nature and the person can learn new methods. The sixths and final step is mastery. This is when you can teach your skill you learned to someone else
We are typically instructed that there is one correct way to complete a task and we should only follow the path of others. With this type of mindset, our society would never improve and only rely only on what is already known which is very problematic when new problems arise. My goal is to continually strengthen my problem solving so that in my career field I can continually provide advancements to supplement growth in several areas.
deliberately focus on developing our skills, then the results will come if we put in the time. It is really at its core, just producing a volume of work in order for us to get the failures out of the way on to extricating the gems.
I ordered the retro 12 red and white on September 20, 2016 on foot locker online store. At the check-out I paid an extra ten dollars for next day shipping on the term and condition they said that if you pay for the express shipping that it was guaranteed to receive your shoes the next day.
them about their stay and if there’s anything you can do to help. You don’t have to throw more

There I learned quickly the many people who are regular customers that I saw daily around the store. They were all there because they believed in the store. They know how much knowledge the store and the workers have to offer them. Without that none of these regular customers would come back. They trust the store and trust what the employees tell them. Small business are more innovative that larger company’s that help in many different ways.
One of the very important techniques that I learned on this book was the power of word of mouth. Basically when a group young adults went for a trip, they makes sure that everyone will have an awesome trip and when they came back they will tell their friends and relatives about their experience. They will spread the word on how amazing the experience they had on the trip. They will talk about what attractions they’ve seen or where they went in Europe or what activities they did. At this point, when other people heard about their great feedback for the trip, it will give a huge interest to other people. For me personally, if my friend went to that trip and told me that she had a really great time on the trip, I would definitely book on that trip too if I want to travel. It will give me an interest and it shows that I can trust the company because they had a really great customer feedback. Another thing is to treat the passenger’s complaints seriously no matter how big or small it is because you’ll never know what could happen and it could possibly affect the whole company. Make sure you identify and diffuse any issue before it becomes a major. Because if you didn’t solve the problem, it doesn’t only affect the company but also the customer’s loyalty and trust which is very important for a business. When you make sure that you satisfied their needs even though you made a mistake, you can solve it earlier or later before it gets
