I think using smartphones should be allowed to in classrooms. If students are allowed to use their phones in the classroom they would be able to focus on their assignments. If students use technology, such as their phones, they will be able to be prepared for their future. In the future mostly everything would be based off of technology. While in the classroom the electronic devices would be very useful for current assignments. Some people also work better on a phone of computer/chromebook. These are some super-eminent qualities. If students are allowed to use their phones computers tablets or any other device they could get their work done faster or more efficiently. Many people believe that when students get in trouble at school that they are being taught a lesson. However, as a middle schooler myself we seem that getting in trouble is just a way of telling us that we need help. Or that we are horrible people and need to do something better in our lives. It's a rule because it prevents people from being distracted, But what about the people that don't get distracted and understand not to use their phones for inappropriate reasons? What, you think using cellphones at school is a good idea. Now days cell phones have so many used apps and while student's are at school they are attempting to look on their phones. Everywhere you go in this present time all you see is toddlers on up to adults with phones because they are so addicted to technology. People would rater buy new phones that the company comes out with instead of buying things that they need because they think they can survive with a cell phone. Cell phones are very helpful but so many people have took advantage of that and have become so addicted to them. Now days in this particular time everything is at everyone's fingertips and they get what they want when they want it. When they ask someone for something they want or need that they can't get on a cell phone, they expect to get it right at that second that they ask for it. Using cell phones at school is a bad idea. School's should not allow student's to use their cell phones at school.

Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.
