Algorithm has become a term that is constantly intertwined with social media. In this essay I will be discussing key ideas drawn from the episode. Firstly, databases are created from archives which grow as participation of users increase over time. Secondly, the information is made useful by sorting and analysing them with algorithms to create customised content for users.
