I was able to take a break from technology for a majority of the 24 hours, however there were some cases that I had to use technology. I tried to go a whole 24 hours without using technologies like my cell phone, television, computer, anything that requires electricity. I decided to do this project with some kinds of justifications, like I could use my car because I needed to use my car throughout the day or I could use my microwave and refrigerator to be able to make myself food. I decided to stay away from my cell phone because that is the single most used technology in my life and I was curious to how much of my time I spent on my phone. Also, my computer is another one of my most used technologies, however I did have to use it once throughout the duration so that I may be able to do my homework. Lastly is my television, I watch a ton of movies and Netflix when I decide to not be on my phone or computer but also can be one of my most used devices.

There is nothing else like the internet that can bring social evolution, and it has reshaped our life deeply during these two decades. The millennials are called net generation because they grow up in an environment that is constantly exposed to computer-exposed technology. The internet infiltrates into almost every aspect of the social life, and the digital technology will continue to change society in the next decade in the area of artificial intelligence. It remains unclear for the future of these changes on human beings. Some people greet this development, others may think it will lead to dire consequences. It is true that the Internet promotes social change in terms of altering the way of communication. However, This essay will argue that the internet is the most significant technology that hinders social progress in terms of culture, human behavior and human right.

Technology has impacted the world to the point of no return. The world is a social media cyclone meaning it’s a hurricane taking over, and it’s no denying in any way. Even if you tried to ignore what is happening in technology, it would nonetheless have introduced itself to you and a friend or a family member no matter what your circumstances are. You could hold a Priests position or practice some type of religion which don’t allow the use for today’s technology at all.

Technology overcoming the work force has always been discussed as a stern subject matter for people nowadays. For humans to say that technology has made some advancements in the past is a major understatement. Throughout the past few centuries technology has made advances to agriculture, education, medicine, and even more benefiting human consumption. All of this may seem beneficial, but now computers are being invented to imitate human functions, possibly replacing them all together. For example, some restaurants do not even have cash registers, since a computer can compute all similar functions. There are missing components that have initiated challenges for computer’s development, making it extremely difficult to proceed the process of replicating human functions to the full extent.

Are computers helpful to a child’s learning process or do they completely ruin it? Many people have a strong opinion on technology and using it in schools. Parents, educators and students all have different views on the topic. Some people believe that it is unnecessary to use technology in schools, and who encourage traditional teaching and hands on learning; others believe that technology is enticing the children and putting forth an engaging way of presenting information. Many schools are going towards the direction of including technology as an effective tool used for their curriculum, but there still needs to be a hands on aspect to introduce the children to new experiences. Education should be a mixture of technology and hands on; traditional teaching needs to be balanced to create a complete connection needed for the real world for children in school.

Technology has been advancing ever since the stone ages, from stone carving to now we can buy just about anything with a push of a button, we can look for jobs or opportunities for ourselves instead of looking in the newspaper, and we can follow the news with it’s updates instead of watching t.v. Social media has been changing our way of thinking, communicating and living, for it makes our lives easier. Every since google has been invented we have found ways to find to different perspectives from other people.

This purpose of this paper is to explore the benefits and relevance of technology in the church. There are a lot of different opinions and thoughts on this matter. What we are looking into is to see if there is any real importance or need for combining the two and what the result would be. We will be digging into what attributes help to further the kingdom of God. In such areas as worship, the different tools and resources that technology has provided, and in a different way of evangelizing with the help of technology.

Although, technology has expanded worldwide causing an enormous amount of breakthroughs, little did we know that it would become a bad influence towards people, especially with students. Students use these devices to cheat, secretly use for social interaction, and a source of distraction during learning time.

I, like countless other children in recent years, grew up alongside technology from a young age. Video games and the internet became ingrained into my life and have absolutely shaped the person I am now. They are an integral part of who I am and how I have developed as a person over the course of my life. While I cannot say that it has only been a positive change, technology has influenced my goals, desires, and personality as I have grown.

Today technologies play a big and important role in a life of our generation. Its rapid development has significantly improved people's living standards. But at the same time, the influence of automation on the work market made many people worry if it may leave humans unemployed. The relationship between employment situation and automation is a very complex question. A number of experts answered a question whether AI and robotic devices will have displaced more jobs than they have created in the next decade. As a result, opinions were divided into two almost equal halves; one-half of the interviewees believe that the disruptive influence of machines will cause mass unemployment and wealth disparity whereas another group sees technology more as a creator of jobs than a destroyer. But at the same time, both groups converge on certain issues, such as educational institutions are failing to provide the sufficient knowledge for the future job market and the changes the work as the concept, so people will have more leisure time.People may agree or disagree to what extent automation will capture the workplace, but I think that there definitely will be a change.

Change is a constant theme relating to practically everything in our society. We used to have horses and black and white televisions. These are no comparison to the technology we have with us right now. Even parenting has begun to evolve. For example, parents used to choose marriages for their own children. Things have turned around so much that spanking is even frowned upon within society. However, Change has been lacking in a very important human development. Fundamentally, education has hardly seen a change in the last one-hundred-fifty years. Ironically, the parents of children, along with the educational issues blame current educational issues on the technology. Video games get the most blame out of all the modern technology we possess. For example, Caroline Miller, a writer for Child Mind Institute highlights the typical reactions regarding concentration issues, stating, “the claim has been made by some researchers that the constant stimulation and instant rewards of games raise the bar for kids to pay attention in normal, less stimulating situations where you have to work harder to get rewards.” Consequently, these concerns are a result of the lack of change within our educational system. Ironically, video games are a potential solution to the lack of interest teachers must struggle with throughout the year. Technology can be a great way for kids to learn and grow. I believe that this generation's focuses too much on the positive attributes of technology, which then can blind us to other habits, addictions, and disabilities that are causing us and especially our kids to become slower thinkers. It is influencing their growth and development in multiple ways. It affects their physical, mental, and social advancement.

To begin with how technology plays an important role in people's lives. Technology has become such a great sensation and a piece of satisfying entertainment. Most people on average would end up saying “I couldn’t live without the internet!” in all reality. This is more towards the younger generation considering they were born into having more advanced technology than the older generation. Knowing that technology has advanced tremendously in many countries, including the United States, it has weakened people’s attributes.

Emphasis within the workforce has shifted within the last century: from building weapons and machinery to support the war effort to working 9 to 5 jobs to support a family in the rising population, work had a purpose. However, as society settles into a century of peace, a number of issues have arisen that has challenged success within the workforce. Some of those issues include technological advancements and overworking. As society pushes forward scientific advancements, technology continues to take over skill-less jobs, such as cashies, while employees’ tendencies to overwork increases as the pressure to succeed increases.

I think I’m addicted to technology. It has just about disconnected me from the real world. I don’t interact with people the way I used to. I can communicate better online with people, rather than in person if I’m getting to know you. Technology has consumed so much of my time. The televisions, phones, and internet have kept me distracted. I don’t have time to study and, to do homework. I don’t clean as often as I should, it distracts me from getting things accomplished whenever I have certain task to complete.
