I am applying to the master's program in the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering where I wish to continue my studies with a focus in computational structural mechanics and the design of composite structures. I have a strong desire to work in the field of high performance structures upon graduation. The program at Georgia Tech is well suited for my continuing educational goals as the aerospace graduate school is one of the top graduate programs in the nation and has a strong research and teaching focus in the field of high performance structures. I am a good fit for this program as I have exhibited a strong aptitude in my undergraduate mechanical engineering coursework at Georgia Tech and a willingness to take on new and challenging tasks

I seem to have always had an underlying passion for infrastructure. That is a fact which I only came to fully comprehend during the summer. The construction industry is regarded as being inherently uncertain and complex in its structure. The complex nature of the construction industry, coupled with the challenges of global competitiveness and changing regulatory requirements has created the need for highly educated and competent construction management (CM) graduates. Essential attributes include: intelligent, flexible, adaptive, and the ability to deal with uncertainty and rapid change.

Having established that there are different universities with Construction Management programs across the country. This study would focus on the engagement of Construction Management graduates in Michigan with Eastern Michigan University being a case study for our research. According to (13), there are several skills that a construction manager must possess. These skills would be examined to determine what employers look out for. Also, (21) also explained that construction occupation has decreased overtime in the recent years. This research would also examine the opportunities available for construction management graduates. In essence, this study would find out if there are opportunities for Construction management graduates.

Considering my curiosity and experience in Civil Engineering and after having passed proper academic courses and gaining an adequate knowledge, I'm seriously intended to continue my studies to obtain my doctoral degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on concrete in order to be able to do professional researches in this field. Civil engineering is one of the most under-appreciated forms of engineering. Mainly because it is everywhere, people tend to take everything that doesn't cost them money for granted. Civil engineers make the world go round. They create, build and inspect things such as highways, buildings, bridges and even sewage systems. An example of some of their unappreciated work is sewage systems. They created a way to dispose of fecal matter while at the same time separating water and making it potable again. We could easily still be going to the restroom on the ground or deep holes dug by hand.
