I was able to see how the developmental influences on a child involves biological, cognitive and emotional factors, and related interactions based on the environment they are in. In my observation I had the opportunity to see how these influences that could fully determine how the child will be in the near future.
It was Saturday October 8, 2016 at 3:08 pm where I completed my observation on the child that I observed. I was at Monroe Park which is located Richmond, Virginia. When I arrived at the park, it was not many children there to observe. I waited patiently, wondering what it would be like to observe someone who was once my age. I was also curious to find out if that child was going to be a girl or boy. Either way, I believed that I would able to see the distinctions among what the child actions are now and figuring out what it would be like in the future.
After several minutes, I seen a particular couple walking with their son Joshua. When they were walking, Joshua seemed more attached to his father because he held his hand the entire walk. They all walked over to sit by tree just like any other person had a choice do there. When they sat down on the ground the mother and father seemed to be having a conversation when Joshua was playing with either the mother’s phone or dad’s phone. I was not as shocked to see that at Joshua was so intrigued into the cellular device. I was not shocked to because many children in today generation are so focused on technology
Explain how children and young people’s development is influenced by a range of personal factors.
I always try to respect race, religion and cultural identity as there is the need for continuity and security, This is one of the reasons why I always address each young person by his/her name.
A child’s environment, for example, their family or school play a huge part in their development. Some of the main factors that influence a child’s development are their family, where the child lives, and socio-economic status. These factors often cross over and blend as they are related.
Personal, social and emotional developments (PSED) are acknowledged as one of the starting point of accomplishment in life. PSED is about the whole child, how they are developing now, what they can do to reach their goals but also contribute to their community and how children perceive their identity and ability, understand their relation to the others in the society and apprehend their own and others’ feelings. PSED are a part of children’s development where they will be able to communicate effectively and be able to develop positive behavior among themselves and to others. Our Children want to interact with their parent's and have meaningful conversations. They want to connect in ways that a smart device can not build a relationship and trust. Talking about life its trials and tribulations that will help our children grow. Our kids want to do things differently now that they have experienced these smartphones all of their lives. Our kids want to get back to socialization and building partnerships and friendships that have to mean. Using cell phones cannot replace the emotional and psychological connection that we share as human beings.

When an infant arrives in the world they are helpless tiny humans who depend on adults for every need from love, to feeding them. It is amazing how these tiny babies grow into adults able to make decisions and become self-dependent. There are many theories about how children develop and what roles the environment plays, what people affect their lives and how events can shape their personalities. Some of these children have and easy life and some have a harder time making that journey to adulthood.

Observer visited a play place of a restaurant in New Jersey, Hackensack. Why I have chosen the place is easy to observe every part of child development such as cognitive, social emotional, language as well as physical at the same time. Observer performed the observation on April 28 from 1 pm to 3pm. The child was an Asian boy. He has strait short black hair with dark brown eyes and thin black eye brows. His height looked around 37 inches that he may be a little smaller than other early childhood children. He looks thin and has a full set of teeth inside his mouth, full cheeks, and a small button nose.

Analysis of a Child This assignment describes and analyses my involvement with a 13-year-old client Joe Smith, who was temporarily supported under section 25 (voluntary) of the Children's (Scotland) Act 1995 to be Looked After and Accommodated by the Local Authority.
