During the winter solstice around the time the sun went down the Yup’ik tribe of Alaska participated in something interesting: The Bladder Festival. All the bladders of the seals that were killed in the years hunt were dried, filled with air, and then sent out to sea. Someone from today’s time would probably think of this as an odd thing to be doing. When actually, it is a process that embodies deep meanings that reveal the deep appreciation, by the Yup’ik, of the world and its blessings.

In a world of political discourse with racism and hate running rampant, a few great men and women came together to bring unity and harmony like never before: in the form of massive music festivals. In the late 1972, the black community came together for a concert known as Watts Summer Festival. In 1969, the largest music festival of its time was held, and was known as Woodstock. Later that year, the Rolling Stones put together a massive free concert in San Francisco known as the Altamont Concert. All of the concerts and music festivals were not aimed at making money or becoming famous, but about the unity of people through the art of music.
In summary, the parade included the police department, tractors, modern cars, floats, marching units, school bands, school clubs, and sport teams from different areas. The parade even carried the delta fair queen and maids. My favorite section of the parade were the floats considering some people get so creative decorating. The floats were awarded. First place won $1000, second place won $600, third place won $450, fourth place won $350, and fifth place won $250. Some people bring in their competitive side, which makes it really amusing to watch.

The Harvest Festival is a village wide annual event that celebrates Corrales' agricultural roots. Corrales Road which is in the heart of Corrales, is closed down to traffic. The road is home to many businesses, studios, and restaurants. Some of the key events at the Harvest Festival include live music, arts and craft shows, business & non-profit exhibits, special events that celebrate horses and cowboys, an evening dance under the stars, a pet parade, wine tasting, growers market, and many more events attract visitors from around New Mexico. The city comes alive as families, pets, and farm

Parade is a cultural and social visualization that each community or town celebrate in honor to their social class and accomplishment. It is a fun activity that shows visual communication between the participants and the audience. The symbol that the parade has carried is to spread their culture at the same time invites people to come to generate more town income. The celebration is one way to explain how people give support and socialize in the society. One example of this parade is the Mardi Gras in Lafayette, Louisiana, every year they celebrate in honor for their cultural distinctiveness and abundant blessing they receive. It is also a tourist attraction in a way that Louisiana invites more tourists to come and participate in the parade.
This paper will discuss the culture of Appalachia reflected in the Jimmy Martin and the Sunny Mountains Boys videotape performance. By watching the video, one witnesses the unique yet orthodox Appalachian tradition that puts God and family first. Many Appalachians share this value system, while also staying true to their ancestral heritage (Appalachian, n.d.). By analyzing the festival atmosphere, musician, and music one can attain a better understanding of the Appalachian way of life.
Promotions such as giveaways, ticket discounts, raffles, etc. are a good way to attract fans. I would also highlight these promotions on Facebook and Twitter for all of my followers to see. Using the media is also a good use of traditional marketing because it is free. The media outlets can inform fans and potential fans about the upcoming events. This is a free and easy way for the program to spread information to the public.
Celebration of many cultural events and festivals goes on throughout the year. Children will enjoy "The Nova Scotia Museum of National History", and for the music lovers "The Celtic Colours International Festival," held every year in October in Cape Breton, is a true delight.
Relevance: As college students being the main audience at music festivals now a days, it's an amazing history lesson to learn about where, when, and why these 2-3 day food, laughter, dance, and fun filled events have come from.

Ultra Music Festival (UMF) is a yearly open air electronic music celebration that happens in March in the city of Miami, Florida, United States (DURAN, 2013).In this report I have analysed about the ultra-Miami festival event in USA and what is behind the success of the event.
