The Importance Of The American Dream

Today, America still provides access to the American Dream since we all have rights. Some of those rights include the pursuit of happiness, right to equality, and the right to better our world. With these rights, it is possible to achieve the American Dream, it is within reach. The are many important documents that make this dream available to us. For example, "The Declaration of Independence" by the founding father's states, "...that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." These unalienable rights, rights that cannot be taken away, are what helps us reach the American dream. Each American is granted these rights, the pursuit of happiness is the most important because it allows us to do what makes us happy and that is what the American dream is all about, happiness. Another document is "The Bill of Rights" written by James Madison the speaker says, " the enumeration in the constitution of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." This demonstrates that we are entitled to many rights and most are not written down but that does not mean we do not have them nor can they be taken away. Just like The Declaration of Independence, these rights belong to every American because we are equal when it comes to freedom. With this, it shows that same rights means same chances, therefore if others can achieve the dream so can we. Some people
