There are so many products being tested on animals , from being lipsticks, shampoos, makeup, skin care etc. But have you ever wondered the side effects these animals experience while using these products? They will experience Burning, torturing, pain, hunger, thirst etc. How is living in a cage living? It's not it is just surviving.

Although many people agree with testing products on animals, they ask ‘Who else are we going to test our products on?’ Nobody! Don’t add harsh chemicals in the products and then the animals and humans are both healthier. Beyond millions of animals that die and are captured every year just from animal testing alone. Treating an animal cruelty is never okay, especially when they’re torturing the animals with harsh chemicals due to testing. If people would stand up and try to protect animals we’d be saving certain animals from becoming extinct and we’d also save a ton of money.

Many of us are unaware of the sheer number of animals that undergo constant suffering in the name of human vanity. Animal testing was originally introduced in the early 20th century and is still prominent today. It is morally unacceptable to experiment on animals for human purposes. The procedures used in animal testing are cruel and inhumane, nor are they the most reliable source of data; resulting in many mishaps. Moreover, with the perpetual advancements in technology, there are several alternative methods making animal testing unnecessary. If testing cosmetics and drugs on humans is unacceptable, what makes it acceptable to test on animals?

The development of new treatments including medicines are distinguished for being time consuming, costly and complex. However, this timely manner is beneficial for society as it meant to provide an efficient and safe medication. Concerns regarding when animal studies are necessary compared to clinical trials has been a debatable topic among society. It is beyond my understanding how that cute dog in the window of that store could be one of the 115 million animals that are tested on every year in the U.S. Behind those cute puppy eyes may be a whole world of pain. Animal testing can be using anything on animals from lipstick to medicine to dangerous chemicals. For those who are animal lovers and have pets at home, are they your best friend? Your pet could be tested on with products that we use, before the product is on the shelfs. Currentaly doctors are testing on animals to see if the products are safe for us humans to use. The Animal Rights Organization has issued that there is still defaults after testing on animals. These testing is not only hurting the animals but some have still harmed humans, we should find another way to test out the products, all these animal lovers and we are still hurting them, we all should not rely on animals to test on.

Animals are the safest way to research the effect of experimental situations. Experiments have been using animal testing since the 16th century. Animal testing has saved billions and billions of human lives from harmful sickness and dangerous surgeries. Most people have only ever heard the negative stories surrounding animal testing but there are thousands of positive stories that should be taken into account.

The use of animal testing has been going on for a long time. Although there have been many cases where people try to stop it or try to convince people that it is wrong in today’s society it is still happening all over the world. This research paper will talk about how in today’s society is racing to discover cures for diseases. How humans have made advancements in the world we have also established the scientific evolution. By doing so our ethics and morals have failed to progress. The knowledge that we gain throughout the years is remarkable but it is our responsibility to use it wisely and ethically. We heartlessly torture and kill animals that we consider lesser beings. For something as simple as eye makeup hundreds of animals are tortured and blinded by test that are being done to them in laboratories where they are hardly being fed, often forced to live in filth, sometimes they even remove their vocal cords to keep them quiet. We pour cosmetic products into their eye and body parts to determine if it will have a harmful effect on humans. Animal’s posses the same emotions and feelings as humans and without any care they are subjected to pain. Mankind fails to give animals respect they deserve, they are treated with lifeless. Something that needs to be changed.

“The question is not, can they reason? Nor, can they talk? But, can they suffer?” once said Jeremy Bentham. Ninety-five percent of animals used in experiments are not protected by the federal Animal Welfare Act. (“Footnotes & Sources-Animal Testing”1, 3). This means animals suffer through inhuman and cruel pain, animals do not reliably predict results in human beings, and it’s more expensive than alternative methods. Also the animal welfare act has not succeeded in preventing horrific cases.

For many years companies have tested their products on animals. Testing on animals does hurt them. Anything from, keeping them in cages to completely killing them. Petitioners have tried to end animal cruelty, and recently the numbers have decreased dramatically. That does not mean that it has been completely cut out of the manufacturing process. There is other means of testing a product then on innocent animals that have no say in their life.

Have you ever wondered why humans do medical research and tests on animals? Would you be able to test and possibly kill the animals by running tests? There are so many questions with so many different answers. They are just like us humans. In my own opinion I do not think we should be allowed to tests animals because the living arrangements, the deaths and suffered animals, and the animals getting blamed for something that isn’t just their fault.

Did you know that animal testing facilities not only test on animals, but they abuse the animals if they don't behave? The animals are abused emotionally and physically. The animals don't get any love and they get hit to top it all off. Animals should not be used for scientific resources because a lot of the tests put animals in danger, the test can grow from danger of death, and animals have rights just as you and I have rights, and give them a voice.

Since the fourth-century, animal testing has contributed to significant improvement in the length and quality of human lives. Nevertheless, it causes many damages to the animals and surrounded. To reduce the harmful effects of animal testing, The National Advisory Committee for Laboratory Animal Research (NACLAR) set out the international guidelines for the usage of animals for research and scientific purposes. In addition to the harmful effects of animal testing on animals and environment, animal testing is considered unbeneficial to humans. Animals are very different from humans. They have different genes, different proteins, and different metabolic pathways. Therefore, drugs that may be effective in animals may not be safe or effective

Animal testing is useless due to the fact that results are invalid which could lead to researches overseeing potential cures for diseases. Animal experiments can mislead researchers or even lead to illnesses or deaths by not predicting the toxic effects of drugs on the human body.

Animal experimentation reflects the poor status of humanity. According to “Estimates for Worldwide Laboratory Animal Use” (2005), it is estimated that more than 115.3 million of animals are used in laboratory experiments each year. The animals included are mice, rat, birds, fish , rabbits, guinea pigs, livestock, dogs , cats and non-human primates.
