One of the new reality for most supervisors is hyper competition. If we are back in the past few years, we would find a lot of barriers that hinder creative destruction. These barriers protect the profit of companies allowed to keep prices high. However, when these barriers have collapsed, each company had to join the fight to protect their own profits, to protect its market position and the only way to do that was through innovation. It accelerated the pace of change requires greater adaptability of companies. Creative destruction pushes the company to be more creative and inventive. The supervisor should be able to earn his place in the market and do it every day (Adu, Akinloye, & Olaoye, 2014).
Apart from it, the supervisor should know how to organize the work of the wards, rationally distribute tasks among employees, monitor the quality of work subordinates and motivate them to achieve the best results. For the supervisor, it is very important to hold leadership qualities and the ability to organize the work of the group. Consequently, a person working on this path must possess high professionalism in the recruitment and good intuition. The formation of the team is the main point. It is impossible for the company to achieve its goals and issues without it. In addition, the supervisor assesses the qualifications of employees assigned to him, resolves conflicts with clients and within the team, developing a scheme of incentives and penalties, organizes training for new

Many organizations and establishments have philosophies in how an organization is to be functioning and which positions are necessary to execute the plan. One of the crucial positions that make the establishment function is that of a Supervisor. The term supervisor is a word with Latin roots which means “to look over,” however, a supervisor is viewed as a person who is an immediate overseer to an employee at a workplace. The supervisor is the person an employee would directly report to for any work related situation. A supervisor plays an essential part of the management team that gives an organization purpose and leadership by being responsible for employees’ progress and productivity (Bittel & Newstrom, 1992).

As supervisor I enforce highest safety standards within the team. I watch and ensure that job brief is always properly addressed. All PPE must be worn adequate to the task. I keep mu group informed and current with all messages from the standards group. I make sure that those what are important to our work are understand properly and I always try to provide explanation or source of adequate information (see additional documents). I want to be the best leader for the task and if possible and if the situation require I offer my help, experience and support to brace others (150 Riverside project, Wrigley Field equipment configuration). When situation require I can make independent and quick decision to support the project (311 N Morgan relocation, 1201 N Lasalle relocation and conduit configuration, Rosenwald project, offsite equipment location). After that I always follow up with proper group (construction, CPE) to be sure that my decision was right. New challenges brings positive stress and motivate me to find different solution to the problem (adjust work schedule when work load increase, break the project into stages to help with design process, design small and time consuming tasks by myself – 400 N Lakeshore Dr, 240 W Randolph)
A good supervisor will inspire, challenge, and motivate their employees. In addition, a supervisor has the ability to stay focused and is able see the big picture. However, one could possibly argue that the best quality that a good supervisor must possess is the skill to recognize the potential in others. Nevertheless, the most important skill a supervisor must possess is the ability to help those around realize their own potential.
Supervision strives to make the unit a good learning situation. It should be a teaching-learning process.

The greatest achievement of an organization is to provide goods and services that customer’s value. The managerial department of an organization has the power to determine the performance of the employee’s, which directly affects the quality of the service or product that is being supplied to the customer. “Managerial tasks are essential for effective management, which involves planning, organizing, leading, and controlling (University, p 6 2011)”. Planning is the process of identifying the suitable goals of an organization and how they will be implemented in the company. Organizing is the procedure that determines the departments of an organization. When departments have been established the next step is to decide who will work best at a particular job. The development of organization inside a business will form the organizational structure for the company. “Leading is the ability to inspire and organize individuals to work as a team to complete the goals of the business in an efficient and effective manner (University, p 9 2011)”. Controlling is being able to assess the procedures of a company and eliminate or change any strategy plans that are not showing high- performance levels. Controlling may consist of monitoring
