Energy has easily become one of the most important necessities for our everyday lives. Without it we would simply not be able to have transportation or be able to gather any of our other resources that we depend on. If at anytime our energy supply ceases or no longer attainable the results may be horrific. However, it is quite easy to keep this from happening, It is crucial that our current population realize the importance of sustaining our present non-renewable resources. An examination of all the present energy issues and human impacts of energy conservation along with the a resource plan will show importance of energy
The U.S obtains more than 84% of its energy from fossil fuels including oil, coal and natural gas. This is because people rely on it to heat their homes, power industries, run vehicles, manufacturing, and provision of electricity. It is apparent that the country’s transportation industry highly depends on conventional petroleum oil, which is responsible for global warming, thus threatening economic opulence and national security. Apart from that, increasing consumption of fossil fuels have elevated health problems in the state, destroyed wild places, and polluted the environment. After conducting Environmental Impact Assessment, projections showed that the world energy consumption would increase by more than 56% between 2010 and 2040. However, fossil fuels will cater for more than 80% of the total energy used in 2040. Sadly, it will be a trajectory to alter the world’s climate, as well as, weaken the global security environment. Importantly, the rate at which the US relies on fossil fuels needs to reduce since it has adverse effects on the planet’s supplies. The society needs to realize that fossil fuels are nonrenewable, thus taking millions of years to form (Huebner, 2003). Notably, the country can reduce dependency on fossil fuels by practicing energy conservation and efficiency,
Since Congressional committees are ultimate decision makers, perceive that their staff individuals can have the critical impact over the course and content of legislation. Texas Senate District 25 is currently occupied by incumbent Donna Campbell. This district is considered one of most heavily gerrymandered districts in Texas, stretching from north San Antonio to South Austin. Campbell has held office since 2012 after defeating the incumbent in a runoff primary race. Though Campbell won the general election in 2012 by 31.2% points and 2014 by 33.4%, there is an expected GOP backlash that could bring her large wins to something reachable by Edward Kling. Since this is a nonpresidential election Steven Kling would need around 120,000 votes, depending on turnout, to reach 51% and take the district.

Darshita Patel Professor Sharifian Govt 2306-71426 19 November 2017 When I win Committees in both Texas House and Texas Senate plays an important role in carrying out the legislation. The function of each committee in the House and Senate may differ, but the goal is to consider the bill and aid in passing a law. The number of committees in the Texas House of Representatives is more than the Texas Senate, mainly due to the size of the House and its large scale of operation. The most important committee in both House and Senate is the standing committee. Temporary committees are also established to study specific issues. Few of the standing committees of Texas House of Representatives are Agriculture and Livestock, Economic and Small
When the environment is disturbed, people are greatly affected, and this can cause serious damage to human and living beings. The proper utilization of these resources helps to control environmental pollution and can help for establishing clean and healthy environment. I will work with this committee to conserve the environment in the state of Texas and in the whole country.
Texas has always been proud of their heritage and their industry. The boost in the economy is much appreciated by Texas, and our government appears to be hushed by the counter weights and balances where money appears to overpower the concern of environmental harm. Two articles that were reviewed gave the opportunity to enlightened Texans about how production appears to be affecting air quality and water and in turn is hurting Texans’ health. Through facts presented, it is apparent that Texas government must take measures to improve the regulatory agencies so that the health of Texans is secure. I am personally appalled by the facts stated in the articles, and reform is definitely required.
