RESEARCH PROBLEM: The research problem in our research is that the system of working of railways in New Zealand that means its routes and customer satisfaction. There are some parts of New Zealand where the railways don’t work in holidays like in AUCKLAND. Due to this the people face many problems.
Rather there are some areas in south region where the railways tracks are not there which cause a lot of problem to the people living there.
So basically, my issue of research is:
• Working of railways in New Zealand.
• To have views of people where there are no railways tracks. RESEARCH OBJECTIVE:
While your problem formulation serves to describe the aim of your thesis, the objectives provide an accurate description of the specific actions you will take in order to reach this aim. As with the problem formulation, the overall objective should be framed in a single sentence. The research objectives of our research are as following:
• To improve the system of working of rails in New Zealand.
• To learn about their customer service.
• To learn about their routes and services
• To provide them necessary improvement if required.
QUESTIONNAIRE DESIGN:
In our research, it is basically on New Zealand Railways. Under this research I made a questionnaire with the help of my teacher and friends which includes 2 parts – one is the demographic and other part include choice questions.
Demographic part includes the respondent’s information. It include name and other details of the
Larry Page once said, “Especially in technology, [we] need revolutionary change, not incremental change.” Whether he is speaking about the Transcontinental Railroad system or the latest iPhone, what he says is true. If change is going to happen, it needs to bring a revolution of some kind along with it, otherwise, it will just become lost in history. This makes us wonder, how did the railroad system affect the US? The railroad system benefited the US most economically by industrializing towns it ran through, lowering shipping costs, and allowing for mass imports and exports.
railroad has allowed the rail industry to provide a more tailored service to its customers. It has also
4. What are the limitations of the survey method, and how would you overcome the limitations of this research method, or any research approach?
1) There are multiple goal statements (see the highlighted statement in the body of your paper). What is the ultimate goal and thesis statement for this project?
People were tricked into building the railroad, drawn in with the promise of a steady pay, and safe working conditions. (Doc. H) Just like in the Trojan War, it was a trick. Since most people working on the railroad were immigrants, their safety was often compromised. Mostly workers with a Chinese ethnicity were working on the railroad, though there were some Irish.
In the beginning the transcontinental railroad caused many problems especially with the american indians. The picture on document H shows American indians riding by the unfinished railroad while americans attack with their weapons. The American Indians didn’t
I agree the railroad system had a huge impact on our nation in the early 1800s. What an exciting time of history when farmers could send wheat and grain to be shipped across the nation in train cars or to waterway ports for goods to be sent around the world. Train car containers carried ice for meats, milk and fresh produce long distance so people could eat fresh year round. Farmers often hired immigrant workers to harvest large crops.
Through the four decades between 1860 and 1890 the land scape of the United States changed dramatically. One of the more important factors evident while observing the interactive map, is the expansion of the railroad system. The combination of railroad system and the increasing population of America created the grand expansion west. Through the decades’ rail systems increase, states were established, densely populated city began to appear, and improved land grow. The west expanded at a gradual rate except for the great railway expansions towards San Francisco. What didn’t happen was a resemblance of change in the south. The rail system increase, but the south lacked an increase in highly populated cities and improved agricultural land. Through the change of America, the states around New Orleans remained the same. Important factors accord between 1860 and 1870 that completely changed the migration of Americans through the next four decades.
At the start of every great advancement in society it is society itself that fails to realize the negative repercussions the advancement might bring. While the rise of the railroad system through Texas gave plenty of beneficial attributes, from faster transportation of goods and services to expansion of Texan towns, which helped boom our population, it would seem that a number of things would be drawbacks leading to the termination of many Texan ideologies. The railroad system stemmed throughout Texas allowed many walks of life a deeper view of the ‘Great Lone Star’ state. While people from different ends of the country came seeking new life others came seeking new fortune which lead to the demise of cowboys, instillation of cattle drives, and the Postbellum cattle boom. In order to understand the negative attributes that the railroad brought we must go back and bring our attention to the beginning which includes the original cowboys.
More than whatever other single variable, railways changed the mechanical urban communities of the West amid the late 1800s. Railways made travel less demanding, less expensive, and more secure. The long cross-country lines moved individuals, grain, cows, metal, and hardware forward and backward over the unfathomable breadths of the Midwest, over the Rough Mountains, Sierra Nevada, and to the ripe valleys of California and Oregon
The document is for public use. The author intended to spread knowledge about for time so it could be used for study so that people can seek knowledge about the upcoming process of railroad
This reaction paper is dedicated to the railroad system. As many opportunities spark up in the west such as the gold crush, it made many people want to move to the west, a faster and much safer way of travel was very much needed. Before railroads the means of travel were mainly either wagons, or ships that that traveled very long distances on water around the horn. These means of travel were not safe at all, for example using the wagons it would take a rigorous six-month journey, and during those six months many pioneers would get ambushed by native Americans during transportation for their goods. Shipping goods was also a hassle due to long six-month wait, this caused some goods to go bad such as foods and losing merchandise
For me, I do not have enough knowledge about this project and there are so many topics that I do not have an enough in depth knowledge. And I am serious about the part of doing a questionnaire survey.
On September 15, the powerhouse located in New Alexandria started to produce electricity for the railway. The electric railway then began regular service in September 18, 1892 after a trial run the day before. The run time from Alexandria with stops in between to Mount Vernon was about a half an hour. Until the tracks went across the Potomac, the trip from Washington to Alexandria was by ferry. Not only was the electric railway designed to go to Mount Vernon, the electric railway had a local line that served the city. During the first day the electric railway ran in the city, many of the residents turned out to witness the cars go by. It was an unusual event for them to see the because the cars of the electric railways were ash and cinder free.
The strength of setting objectives is that it gives you an idea of you want to achieve by the end your research and also serves as guideline of what you need to cover throughout your research
